crimson_gas fx

Got the crimson_gas fx from REVS Crimson Avenger Ga.
Followed the instructions but when I entered the game the fx had large pink squares in it when fired.
Anybody know what went wrong or how to fix?

you're missing textures. Check to see which ones are missing. They'll be listed in ff.log if you've looked at the fx in game recently (it's rewritten everytime the game is launched)

I can't find ff.log, the only log's that I can find are ''CharacterTool.log, FFVTTR Edit.log, script.log, icp.log''.
But if I'm missing textures and took the ones that came with Ren's Crimson avenger I can's surely be the only one that this has happened to. Is there anyone who had had this and found a fix?

Looks like Ren forgot to include two tgas. I'll assume you're missing:

rock_blank_01.tga/dds
entblank_02.tga/dds

Since you said the textures were pink "in" the cone. Locate those files and the problem should be gone. Coincidently, I think those came with one of my old fx and were just alpha'd out versions of the tgas that came with the game.
