AA, your Q-Men look insane. Your old iteration was great already, but the improvement is very impressive.

Unfortunately, I can't see Cacus for some reason.

Thanks LP and that is because I've updated the image. I changed the skope and updated the skin a bit to make him more Aboriginal...

Meet Dr. Dwight Yorke also known as the Shepard. He's a leading geneticist and Chimera expert. His power is human manipulation via his voice chords.

Also meet his ex-lover and research partner, Gravita. Born in Ottoman Syria, Abra Yakootah has the ability to manipulate gravtational forces. Making her one of the most powerful Chimera's alive.

Everyone needs a Prof and Magneto, right?

detourne_me

Just outstanding AA! I'd love to see you continue with other versions of X-Men villains, maybe a sentinel/nimrod named Bellerophon!

Yes, yes they do.

Great job on these. You're designs never cease to impress.

Outcast

Loving the new character designs here as well AA.

I feel a Mod is nearing completion here.  :pk:

windblown

Outstanding skins/designs/skopes, I really like them.

I certainly would love to play a mod with these characters  :)

laughing paradox

This is very inspiring.

Cacus' face is exquisite, Shepherd looks great but the real winner here, for me, is Gravita. I simply love the design. I'd love to see how she looks with different color palettes.

AfghanAnt

Thanks dude. What colors were you thinking?

laughing paradox

I think red would be too much like Magneto, but I was considering either purple or blue.

And this is a totally random question -- whatever happened to your All-New, All-Deadly X-Men? The Grey King, Xaos and the others.

I thought about purple but it looked too much Magneto to me too (plus the Q-Men wear pink). Blue would be interesting. I had plans for her "children" and one of them was going to wear blue, but maybe making the tones different.

They were lost with a computer crash a while back and while I have the psds I would need to skope them all over again. :(

Bummer about the crash; I know how that goes. At least you have the PSDs!

I am really looking forward to your "Brotherhood" pastiche. Your work on the Q-Men (and particularly the Amazonauts) have inspired me to start doing my own original characters, via Freedom Force.

Hey, Mr. Ant --- I've been trying to use your meshes in Freedom Force, but instead of the mesh it just shows a white cube. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for all the hard work. It's amazing to see you still active after all these years.

All of my work is for  :ffvstr: only. :)

Mr. Ant, something that came up:

I'm loving your hero files.

I'm noticing that your hero files use FXs not in EZFX, or FFX, or PFX, and your Web site provides  :ff:-only FX for the Justice League. How did you (and how do I) assign, say, the appropriate intended FX to Green Lantern's attacks?

Thanks a bunch!

To fight my depression over losing 90% of my unreleased work (and all of Weird World skopes and a lot of psd/skins...) I started working on a skope/skin for Benton's mod. He asked me to update Vanisher's old look and mix it with the current one. I hope this is what he was expecting.

FYI the Unus you see above does not exist anymore so I'm making a new skope (I still have the psd).

Still have four more familiar faces to finish these guys off and start working on Windblown's New Mutants again.

BentonGrey

Well, that's not what I was expecting.....it's even more awesome!  I love the design you've come up with AA, something that really captures the best parts of both of his looks and just really works as a super villain!

Wow that Vanisher looks great. Kind of an ugly costume though :P

Fantastic job, AA. Course I have always loved your work. Like I've said before, every new release gets better and better. Love it!

I actually really like how terrible it is. I really wanted to capture the cooky crook Stan Lee and Jack Kirby envisioned, not the misanthropic two-timing teleporter from X-Force. What he's been wearing since the all-black bodysuit has been so non-costumey that is doesn't feel like the same Telford Porter.

Thanks. I believe all of these skins/skopes will be featured exclusively in Benton's mod (which everyone should be downloading and playing for the new content alone). I do have some other owned stuff coming out for Marvel. Nothing in the near future for originals or DC (burnt out/disappointed by both).

Cyber Burn

Toad is just hideous, I love it! I've already been excited for Benton's Mod, this just adds to that "Kid in a Candy Shop" feeling that I'm having.

BentonGrey

I love that Vanisher costume.  The more I look at it, the more I like it.  AA has done a masterful job of tweaking and adding to the original costume to make it a more interesting, more complete supervillain outfit.

Thanks for the interest in the Marvel Adventures mod guys!  :D

I love it!! Really curious to know who are the other 4 characters, looking forward to discovering it!

After a slow and tedious process I have the Q-Men back - need to reskope some but for the most part I got them back. :) I'm going to try and release as much as this stuff as I can. I'm most likely going to try and reskin Kid-Ant and the F.O.U.R., as well as, some other stuff I was working on before everything went to hell. Hopefully you guys will like it.

I don't think that there would even be any question there. You make it, us sheep automatically love it.  :D

AfghanAnt

Good news! I got most of the WW originals back but I'm missing a few tgas and need to reskin some stuff. It is probably going to take a while to compile but I am definitely releasing these bad boys and I hope you guys like them. They are 3+ years of skoping, skinning, and thinking. :)

Man, that's a lot of love put into these guys. Definitely something for us to look forward to.
