Spartan and Grifter



I want to do some work to Spartan's face.. and change up Grifter's chest straps.. make them match the belt. We'll see.

And a request: Does anyone have any ideas for chest straps used by Warblade?



That tubular harness that goes over and under his shoulders.. I'd rather skope than skin it.

Can't really think of any tubes like that. You could take just two standard ring pieces and maybe position and size them into place.

Maybe give Tommyboy's superboy_prime_armour_tvlite mesh a look. There are a good number of tubes in that one that you may be able to manipulate. The tube's coming over the shoulder in that mesh look like they'll work pretty well without a ridiculous amount of editing.

And yeah! Nice to see some fellow WildCATS fans.. Image was pretty cool when it started up. Sort of. Youngblood, Cyberforce, Spawn and Wildcats were good.. didn't get much into Brigade and Bloodstrike and Strikeblood and StrikeBrigade and Brigadeblood.

I'm focusing on the original team of WildCATS members now.. the second incarnation, with Condition Red and Tao, was pretty cool.. and I'd love to rock out an awesome Ladytron (Prometheus by Syn has a perfect mouthpiece for her) but I won't be able to start any of them any time soon. Too many other characters I want to do after this Image burst.

Theres actually some pretty nice skins for a special Ladytron/ Female Mohawk mesh by Zuludelta.

Oh, and by the way, I dont think you have to bother with Cyberforce too much. AKA, team fulla Wolverines number 427. Creative....Image wasnt.

Oh hey, you could do a Cybernary hex/skin! You know, an mesh that actually, really adhered to the figures you see in Rob Leifeld drew would probably look nightmarish...

I'm still working on Warblade and on Spitfire, which is causing me more problems than I anticipated. Since she's a speedster, I want to use vx_female keyframes, but I like skinning female_basic meshes. Oh, dilemma.

Goldstar is great, but maybe she could have a happier face? I read about 2 or 3 stories with her but she looked like the "happy heroine" type.
Anyway the costume is perfect!

Thanks. I haven't really read any issues with Goldstar, but all I knew was that she was young. I'll put up a revised face soon, actually.. should be quick to add a smile.

I like Gren's female_speedster keyframes, but I love Vertex's female speedster keyframes. Maybe I'll try two versions.. we'll see.

Thanks to Benton's requests, I got inspired to skope up and skin an updated Mantis.



I've already uploaded it, with an updated Clea and Prowler skope (added it to Owlman_REN, thanks to herodad's or area's suggestion). Download them here.

I've tackled some of Grenadier's meshes, like Box and Diamond Lil. Smart Alec, too. Those are available (not Smart Alec yet) at the Champions site. Does that make me a member in the shadows?  

My list of upcoming things to do, besides the things I promised (April O'Neil WILL be done!), will include more random stuff, like a fair amount of the  Femizons (one of my favorite Captain America storylines ever) and members from the original Contest of Champions, like Shamrock, American Eagle, Blitzkrieg, Peregrine, couple of others. I'm going to finish the WildCATS, too.. I just need to complete that Warblade skope.

We got Le Peregrine, Arabian Knight, Talisman and American Eagle.

I wonder what suggestions could be made for Peregrine's mesh. I have him now on a Nighthawk_Def_Gren mesh but I'm confused by Peregrine's depiction. Sometimes he's got a cape and other times it's an under-armed variant. Arabian Knight also gave me a little trouble, as his turban lost its shape when I skoped it onto a Silver_Surfer_Gren mesh, but I like the animations for him better on that skope, so it's a win/lose. That skope of American Eagle.. the credit goes to Johnny Patches. I just moved it to Connor_Hawke_Gren.

I've still got a few more to do before they're released, like Collective Man, Blitzkrieger and Shamrock. Oh, and Defensor. Are there any I'm missing?
