Hey TAP!  Awesome work as always.  I have been really waiting for those skins, and they are all excellent.  I think that the Electrocutioner looks really great, but that Dr. Alchemy is absolutely fantastic!

Thanks everyone, I finally figured out what was up with the portraits. I had saved the in the wrong size 80x128 which the new game will take but in .tga's for .dds it's 64x128 like FF1. I tried them this morning in game( Like I should have done before releasing :banghead:) I will upload a zip with them tonight when I get home and fix the skopes as well for those that have not download them yet. Thanks again for the patience.

I did some more work on Chemo and managed to get the skin to animate, saw the suggestion  :thumbup:
I still want to do more work on the body shape and play around with the skin some more.
Was thinking of adding some glow to the skin and some tweaks. Let me know what you think and any ideas, thanks

I also love Captain Cold ... the way you managed to make his costume look layered is amazing. Great work, man!

I made some changes to my Electrocutioner skope, changed the body to a more muscular and had to add a belt because the old body had the belt built in. This was based on opinions from the first time I previewed him.

No, the new one is more betterer, I love the little doohickey(s) on the belt, and the more muscular build works well too.

Thanks WyldFyre I'm glad you like it and I think we need more villain love :wub:, here is what I'm working on now a Hero for once and a update.
Jack Knight/ Starman IV, so far I only have the face, hair and jeans done. But I would like to hear any comments on it to see if anything needs to be changed, he is one of my favorite characters and I want to try to get it right. I may try and narrow the chin a little and make the ears stick out a very little more. And on a side note does anyone know if the is a way to fix the goggles in the hover animation, it's jumps up and down a little.

Alright!  Electrocutioner!  Great TAP, I'm really glad to see that you finished him.  I'll be able to include him now.  The face on that Jack Knight just looks incredible man.  Your work continues to impress.  I know that there IS a way to affix the goggles...by attaching them to a bone, I think, but I don't really know the ins-and-outs of it.

   If you attach the goggles to the head and remove the NiSkinInstance (I think), that should solve the floating issue. Also, great facial work. :thumbup:

that would remove the floating issue,  but it would also make the goggles static.  i think the problem lies in the keyframes themselves, i'm not sure how they could be fixed (i tried going into IPS iceman keyframes to fix a similar problem, but ended up breaking the keyframes)

RE: the Jack Knight goggles. I just had a look at he Max file for that mesh, and the goggles appear to be linked to a bip, but also to have their own animations so sometimes they are covering his eyes, and sometimes above the eyes on his forehead.
And on the hover they do jump a little.
So even if you remove the link to the bip and physique them (which should stop them "floating" in ffv3r), it wont cure the jump. You'd have to delete the animation of the goggles entirely from the keyframes, or just within that particular animation (hover). Or truncate the animation a little, so the jump bit is cut off.
It may be less trouble to use a different set of goggles unless you are wedded to these and really want the "sometimes up, sometimes down" goodness that they bring.
I'd offer to fix the goggle animations and re-export him myself, but my inclination would be to make my own, new version from scratch. Not that there's anything deficient about the existing one, its great. But that would be what I'd do...

Man there is a lot of dust on this thread, anyway I finally had a couple of hours to work on something. Here is the Parademon skope and update of the skin I have been working on. I did some reshaping of the nose and chin to get the look I wanted, I also have a goggle version that I'm not so sure about. The goggle was a little big and I need to look at a couple of other options. Anyway I am happy with the face or at least the mouth area so far and will show more as I get it done. My idea is to have a few versions of the armor so it can be put to random. And I'm working on adding some extra animations, but I also have a question for everyone. I am using TJ male_test_flight as the base mesh and wanted to use the hover and fly animations from INK's black tom mesh, but for some reason the wings only pop out if you use the original fly and hover. But I did add more hover ranged animations. So the question is how many really want the wings to pop out, because if not I also have a version based off Gren starman mesh and there is 2 other keyframes I can use to add more animations. So with wing out all the time or only during fly and hover?

Sweet!  nice Parademon!   
For your keyframe questions,  just keep in mind that you would only need the idle and melee_idle(to be doubly sure) animations to keep the wings in, and possibly the land_from_flight
then for the wings to come out, i'm assuming you would only need the take_flight animation,  all other flying and hover keyframes would have the wings pulled out.
it's kind of a nasty trick with keyframes but it works

Hey there,

Here is another update, I still have more work to do on the green parts but it getting there. And I made changes to the keyframes to have the wings pop out in flight and added a fer more part. I feel it's finally looking like I had wanted to look 4 years ago when I first skinned the parademons for male_basic, then staff, rifle and paradeom versatile. I did change the eye to red, thought it incorporated the old and a little of the Tas version. I have tomorrow off so I should have it finished by tomorrow night, let me know if you think it needs something or if it has to much?
