Forced Vacation from COX

So some of you might have noticed that I haven't been on.  That's because my computer died.  Flat out died, as in power is going to the Motherboard, but its not getting to the BIOS or drives.  So fortunately, a friend of mine gave me an old laptop she doesn't use anymore (which is slightly more advanced than the one I used to use when I made FF content), which meets all the specs for running the game except for graphics (Its a Toshiba Satellite 1400).  So yeah, I'm not sure when I can get my compy running again.  I might have to find another job first (my hours were cut to under 20 a week in January, so I am looking for a second job though things might pick up).  So yeah, no COH.  I still have paid time on my account till the end of March, so Mikey and Bunneh, if either of you want to take some of my toons out for a spin, let me know and I'll hand you the keys.

Now if only my Freedom Force disks weren't hidden away in a storage locker... 

Edit:  I found a half dead Pentium 4 in my closet, but half to wait until tomorrow (when I get a screwdriver) before I can try to combine it with my other PC bits (my current theory is that the power supply bit the dust, but my multimeter is in storage :p ).  I might need to swap DVD drives as well, as it tried to load Ubuntu (I always have a copy around) and failed.  So, I decided to hunt around, and found a couple of MP3 players, figuring I can turn one into an Ubuntu USB drive, so I can at least use my desktop for something.  Lo and behold, at some point I backed up my Freedom Force skins on it o.0 )  Man, after skinning on Second Life, I realize how much my old skins suck. Now if I could just find an FF disk, I could start working on a new base skin.

I think my hard drive finally went....  Now I'm using my old computer that won't properly install Windows on it, so the only function I have is internet.
