Fantastic Day

I just thought I'd mention that today is one of the greatest days I've had in awhile. The weather is BEAUTIFUL (in Seattle? What the heck? ), I had a lovely personal spiritual revelation involving actually following through on my promises while walking to the bus, pretty much everybody I've run into today has just been really happy, and I had a fun little interaction in the Starbucks today with the cute barista I've been flirting with for a month or so... For background, I have NEVER ordered a coffee-based drink while she was there. As an elitist Seattleite, I hate Starbucks espresso. So I go in, we chat for a bit, and I tell her that I'll order a double short toffee nut latte, not too hot, IF she'll give me her number. She smirked and said it was rather manipulative...and gave me her email address.

I had no idea that would actually work. Haha.

Anybody else had a great day today? Or heck, what are some of the best days you've had period? Those days when you always have a smile on your face and nothing could ever go wrong?

Saturday was the best day I've ever had. Went to work with no problems, then went to Cleveland with The Ladyfriend to see a few friends, and then all of us caught a live show of "Cinematic Titanic." If you've ever heard of Mystery Science Theater 3000, it's the same thing, with the same cast and everything. So we sat through this terrible movie (Dynamite Bros) with the original cast of MST3K riffing it like crazy, and then afterwards, we got to meet all of them! I shook all their hands, one of them poked fun at how nice I was, and before we all left, Joel Hodgson actually asked us if we wanted a picture of all of us together! I know it's not a big deal to most folks, but I was speechless the rest of the night! We all were.

So, yeah... it was a pretty good Saturday.

I had a great day, i got away with wasting a class reading  Watchmen, then watched iRobot in another class, all to be followed up by not alot of homework! If the rest of this week goes as well, knock on wood, i'll be a very happy person! Weather is nicer(in relativity than it has been; which is saying something, though not nice enough too say much. though, it's a start) and i can't wait to see the rest of my family on Sat. It's just that kind of a day i guess!

I worked as a barista myself for nine months. I can handle it.

Considering the way the best coffee beans are grown....yuck!  I just had a good nights sleep!  Working out before sleep is best!
