I think this is only the second time I've ever posted.

I have been a long time lurker, and with the state of things right now, I am not sure I plan to continue to follow the community should it shift location (I blame bad knees)

I did want to take this chance, as someone who has enjoyed the board for the last 3 years or so, to thank everyone who posts and visits here for a very enjoyable experience.

Outside of the content that kept a single game monopolizing hard drive space for so long, I have enjoyed the enthusiasm with which this community approached, the art, scripting, and spirit of comics alive for a very enjoyable period of time.

The sad fact of any community is it takes only a few bad apples to spoil it, but I don't want to dwell on the bad.

I just wanted to say a hearty "Thank you"  to everyone involved with this site, from moderators, contributors, and even fellow lurkers, for being involved with this community.

If this site continues, or if the community moves, I wish everyone the best.

Hey, sorry to hear about this. Glad you got something out of it, though.

Got to say, I personally think this whole mess is silly. It honestly makes no sense to me. It is a real shame for the lurkers like you (heck, I lurk all the time) that you won't be able to get any of the FF stuff anymore. Hopefully the movie and comic forums and those will stay up though.

Anyhow, if it does blow over you have an account now, so don't be afraid to post every so often!

Looks pretty lively here to me.  And I'm among those who haven't played the game in a while* - I come back for the community and the discussions.


*Mostly because my new laptop ran 64bit Vista which made it nearly impossible to get mods properly lined up with the core game.  I recently "down graded" to the 32bit which seems much more sane.  I should really reload and see how things do.
