well with 5 weeks left till the baby arrives, I get accepted on a 2 year intensive course for game designing

it's a fantastic new oppertunity for me provided by a new system called "train2game",
I had to prove my determination and passion to make it in the industry in a 2 hour interview

and pass an aptitude test, I was worried about the test because there were 2 questions I wasnt sure on, ended up getting 1 question wrong (was intentionaly misleading, and the correct answer would have been my second chice, lol) but was ok because you only needed a 50% correct score to pass it, lol
so yeah, i'm posting because i'm ecstatic about being accepted (despite the hefty £5000 price tag) and i'm finally on my way to the dream \o/

all is good, the bump dropped about a week ago so it's very close now, we found out it's a girl, so she may well be early, i'll let yaa'all know more when it happens

Nice work, you two.

These games courses are becoming more common these days, even here in Aus. I've even done a bit of guest lecturing on one and recruited a programmer who I met there, so these courses do work and often lead to jobs at the end.
