i'd say, shorten your lists alot.  a whole lot.  i've done random requests for characters i have no care for,  but your super lists make my eyes glaze over, and i scroll down as fast as possible to see what responses ppl are giving you.
at worst, you should maybe just say 'i request: every sonic character!'  at least my brain wouldn't bleed then.  at best, to get the best response, if i were you, i'd pick out a single character.
like, maybe just sonic to get a start.  i could see a mesher get into the idea of trying to animate his spinning.
also, you are going to want to get more ppl interested in the character, to inspire creation on it.  like, maybe make an ezscript mission using various characters.  using standins until the mesh/skin you want is created.  or, maybe make a skin using a mesh as close as possible, to show willing.

That's just it. I want people to start with Sonic (all mesh forms), and to be honest....

I never make meshes, and I'm not great at doing them. :blush:

I can't mesh either, but if you do what you can (and anyone can EZScript, I'm living proof) you could very well create more interest like Bearded said.  Wanting "all forms" of Sonic to get meshed...ha, well, I suppose anything is possible.  To give you some perspective, it took me over three years to get a list of minor DC characters not even HALF that length skinned, skoped, and VERY rarely meshed.  They were almost all much simpler to accomplish than those, and they were for a mod that generated a fair amount of interest.  Our community is amazingly generous and talented, but you should really try and narrow your focus a bit.  Why don't you try requesting Sonic and Dr. Robotnik?  After all, there are tons of robot meshes that you can use as stand-ins for his minions.  That would be a start, and like Bearded said, you might be able to generate some interest after that.  Anything is possible. ;)

Ummm, Neros, guy? That thing that just went flying over your head... that was the sarcasm dripping from my previous post.

I'm not really going to rehash this again, because I've not only said it all before, but I'm fairly sure I've said it all to you specifically. I'm only going to say that you're essentially asking guys like me to spend 3 months making a mesh that is not only severely outside the general realm of FF in general, but that is something you won't even appreciate for the value it truly has, the work and time put into it.

I spent all day today laying down the groundwork for what will be, eventually, a Two Face mesh. More work can and will be spent on it over the next month, by myself and whoever I bring in to help (fellow meshers for animations and extras maybe, fellow skinners possibly for standard skins). And once it's released, I'm sure we'll see skopes, other skins, and all that who-haw based on it.

But Sonic? Not so much. Sure, you'll play with it, but appreciate the work? How can you, when you have consistently shown yourself to see things only for the sheer quantity of them you can get. In this very thread you have almost 60 requests. And it's not that you honestly just want all 60 of these characters, because that I could see... it's like you just picked Sonic's universe out of thin air and just googled every character you could find. And not even a GOOD search, etiher, as you missed a good half of the major characters(pretty much any of the Archie/SATM characters).

Now, before anyone takes this the wrong way, I'm a Sonic nerd. I have almost religiously collected the Sonic comic books since I discovered them (even the horrible Sonic X book), I've seen what I could sit through of the old TV shows (enough to know that Manik and Sonia should never EVER be on any Sonic fan-list) and I've played most games up to the Werehog game. And honestly, that's part of why I've actually taken as much offense to this as I have... there's a part of me that would, more for the challenge of doing it then anything, like to do a Sonic mesh someday. But if THIS is what I'd have to look forward to?

I'm trying not to be a jerk, I'm really not. But you have to understand... there's work involved here. Granted, it's a work of love, but it's work nonetheless. And until you understand that, no one will want to help you find anything, and certainly no one will actually put for the effort in making any of this for you.

My advice? Wait a week, maybe two. Let your threads get to second page. Then change your Screen Name (there's a way to do it, don't know how) so no one will associate your SN with what you've already posted. Then post a new request, with one character, one that hasn't been done before but that isn't too divergent from what's already out there (preferably something that'll work on male_basic), something that does not need a new mesh, and that's pretty mainstream superhero-ish... and by mainstream we're talking something that isn't from an anime, from a cartoon, or from a manga. Think Comics. Be polite, see if that one thing gets made. When it does, move on to something maybe a little more complicated or a little less mainstream.

Keep in mind though, even though we have wonderful, helpful members of the community, be prepared to do a bit of work on your own. A skin here, a skope there, that kind of thing. Heck, there are guys, like me, who'd even be willing to find you an extra copy of max if you wanted to take a gander at meshing. Sure, your stuff will stink in the beginning... everyone's does. But you'll improve pretty quickly, and you've already shown you can stick to it if you want.

But i think neros also made an honest mistake. it really hard to realise how much work a mesh/skin represent when you've never made one yourself. He probably though it wasn't that hard and figured it be easier/faster to ask for many instead to ask one by one. about getting into meshing/skinning yourself...well, see my other post

And I can accept that, except that I myself have told Neros exactly what goes into each and every mesh before now when he posted that absurdly long character request list of his. I and others have told him specifically to shorten his lists over and over and over, and he continues to have these 57+ character request threads running around.

However, my problem isn't even that... it's that he clearly does not care about the characters he's requesting. If I were to ask him, right now, why he wants Shadic, or Sonia, or Grounder, or the Black Knight characters, he would not even be able to name a reason for me. And yet, despite the size of the list, he's still managed to leave out the Archie/SatAM cast, which in my mind is as important to Sonic lore as any of the main Sonic cast.

The reason why I added the characters from the cartoons is because they're technically Sonic characters, and I like them a lot!

Moving on, here is more Sonic characters! Any I forgot, let me know and I'll add them.

or the "people" here could make characters for more respectful posters who contribute to the state of the community outside of requests. Calm it down. When a mesher and several posters give you the same advice, and the majority of the community including "meshers," "skopers," and "skinners" ignore this thread, then you should see a running sign of "it probably won't be made so I should stop pushing the issue and take in what they're saying."

So in conclusion, there's a 90% chance of none of this stuff being made, so stop adding to the list and actually try to figure out how the community operates. Being disrespectful and doing/saying things just because you can will get you nowhere unless you want to take the time to "learn" what others already "know."

Mk, for those not Sonic nerds (most of you, methinks) let me go over Ashura and Tails, 'cuz I'm bored and I don't feel like messing with hair meshes ATM.

-Tails Doll- Tails Doll was this kind of goofy-looking mechanized Tails you could get for beating Sonic R with Tails. His popularity is mainly just the stuff of Internet lore, which states that if you do ___, Tails doll will erupt from the screen and eat your soul or whatever. It's kind of silly, but that's kind of the point of the whole thing.

-Ashura- Ashura is... a complicated character to explain. Way back, during one of the first Sonic games, a palette glitch occurred with one of the first Sonic games if you cheated in a specific way, in effect turning Sonic green with a large black spot on his head. Fandom exploded, and all of Sonic fandom rejoiced at Sega's new character, which they named "Ashura the Hedgehog"

No, I'm completely serious. Ashura is nothing more then if say... you had an issue where some dumb colorist colored Spiderman Green and Yellow for a whole issue. The same fans who had created Ashura would look at that comic and would name him "Hornet man" or something.

So yeah, in effect I was saying "These two characters, dependent on the lower-levels of Sonic intellectual fandom, are perfect for your list."

here's an idea you want these characters so bloody bad,do what 99% of the community did get off your backside learn to skin and/or mesh and do them yourself. the community has shown little to no interest in your request so i don't think being ignorant and demanding will help matters

Alright. Everything i am about to say is on the level of where you are at in the community. I agree with most of the folks here. As i am mainly a requester(and therefore have little or nothing to give to the community), i had gotten this response at some point. This whole place is based on politeness. Let me put it this way. You ask someone out around twenty times, you follow them home, to the store, to their work/school/wherever and they finally give you a restraining order. We don't like to hand out restraining orders around here, so lets not go farther than this. I would let your list sit for a few monthes. Every once in a while, check to see if anyone has replied and if not let it be. Check back later. Trust me, you do not want to be in the fire of these folks.
