Howdy guys, I'm writing this to all of you who pray.  My wife's step-sister has a baby who is in the hospital in real trouble tonight.  This child, Parker, nearly drowned in the bathtub earlier, and the doctors say that it will be a miracle if he survives.  Please pray for him, and also my wife's family.  As you can imagine, they are all really shaken up by this.  Thank you friends.

Geez, I'm sorry, man. You all, especially Parker, will be in my thoughts. Good luck with everything, hope everything turn out alright.

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts.  We still have no word.  This is really hard on my wife, the not knowing.  I maintain that, in this case, no news might be good news.  It means that the little guy is still alive.  For my part, I'm just trying to stay busy.

We got some news a while ago, and it isn't good.  My wife is flying home on Thursday, likely to prepare for a funeral.

Dark though be the times, there are many who care and it has been expressed here.  You and your family will be in my prayers and others.  You have been a friend to many, my sincerest condolences.
