Just like it sounds, this is a website I have been using to keep track of anime I watch (and manga to a lesser extent).  Its database is huge, and its a good resource for working out what you may want to watch next.  The Website URL is the same as the topic title:  http://myanimelist.net .  My own profile can be found here.  Of course I realize that divulging this information is tantamount to admitting I am currently watching Lucky ☆ Star, but everyone has their weak spots.  Word of advice.  If you get the chance, watch Noein.  Seriously, watch it.  Its slow in parts, but probably one of the best things I have seen, period.

Ares_God_of_War

cool thanks for the link :) My two that I am watching are Naruto and Bleach - both started because I could find nothing else on and they both grew on me
"That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange eons even death may die."

I liked Bleach for the first 3 seasons, the entire Soul Society arc, then something seemed...lacking from then on. Maybe the repetetiveness? I don't know. Regardless, that's for another topic ;)

Thanks, Kommando, I have a few more I haven't seen on the list to watch. Funnily enough, I'd seen a lot of the ones you have :D

Good site in general - thanks for the link
I so need booze -_-

Thanks.  I'm kind of an old school with Anime (Ranma 1/2, Zillion, Cat Girl).  Maybe this would help see what's new out there.

That's exactly what I use it for.  Also, since I too am old school, I sometimes don't remember everything I have seen (I used to watch G-Force/Battle of the Planets and Thunder back in the early 80s and I had completely forgot I had seen the entire run of Jungle Taitei aka Kimba the White Lion), so surfing the site sometimes jogs my memory.  There's recommendations and reviews.  So feel free to add me to your friend's list, as the more people I connect with, the bigger picture I can get of what's out there.

I threw something really obscure at it as a test and it passed, so I'll be checking it out.

Honestly these days I really dont like anime much, but there are some animated movies and series I do enjoy. For one I will watch anything by Satoishi Kon

In particular check out Millenium Actress, Perfect Blue, Paranoia Agent and Tokyo Godfathers.

I've seen Paprika and Perfect Blue.  I may have to check out more since his movies seem to have an element of the psychedelic (without the drugs).

Currently watching and reading through quite a pile of the stuff.

I really liked Azumanga Daioh, and I would recommend finishing the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya before getting to far into Lucky Star, since its relevant.

Bumping this because I feel like it, and the fact that its the main "Social Network" site I visit aside from this one.  My list has grown quite a bit since I last posted in this thread.
