Part one of three in my Superman: Red Son skin set. IMO, this is the best Superman story ever told.

Thanks to Cas for pulling off a pretty cool skope which we'll see more of with the next 2 skins.

I don't think I've ever done or started a John Stewart skope. Maybe I'm having a memory lapse. Refresh my memory?

Honestly, after seeing what you did with your avatar's shield, I think you should make some Lanterns.

I'm not sure how much skinning I'll be doing after my Red Son set. Things for my video tutorials, of course. But, I've been wanting to try new avenues of art. So, I can send the skope your way if you want. Let me know.

I cannot say what's better, the face or the highlights on the costume. OK, both are great!

I'll skin it if you don't want to (hate to not release a skope that good) but I'm hoping you'll do it. I have a Hal, Guy, and Kyle all by Murs but no Stewart. It just doesn't seem right. Maybe you could use the extras on that skin for your video tutorials?

great work as usual mate but i feel like it's missing something, where you trying to go for the same colour style as the book, the highlights just seem kinda flat.

I would also maybe tweak the eyes make them not so wide. the costume texture is great particularity the shorts and the logo is nicely done

If I skinned him I'd feel the need to re-skinning the other 3 again. I'll send the skope your way later.

The costume does evolve during the series, so it is missing something in a sense. I can't say I was going for precise colors. I wanted the main part of the costume to be a grey-blue and I didn't add any highlights because I wanted it to resemble cloth a little. The blacks I did want looking more like latex/leather. I was worried the eyes were too close in but I'll give it a second look. Thanks UE.

The only things I'll say...if I had the skill...I'd tone down the musculature a little and change the gray (a little "warmer") in the suit...it's a little blue I think...and change the boots to match the suit. But it's your interpretation my man and it's pretty sick as is so what do I know. I can't wait to see the next two. And I believe you're getting some residual memories from me...you being my clone and all ....Superman: Red Son is my favorite Kal El story ever. For one glaring reason...Dave "Devil Pig" Johnson! Great story but Dave's work .....'nuff said!

Maybe one day I'll do everyone from Red Son. Bizarro, would be the first I'd tackle too.

I warmed up the gray and I like it a lot more. After I do some other minor adjustments I'll post pics of part 2. I didn't like the boots being the same color as the gray, that was odd. So I went black. I'll try toning down the muscles and maybe adding some creases and folds into the third skin since he's supposed to be older.

Well, he is awesome. His covers for Punishermax and Unknown Soldier have been nothing short of amazing. Take your time with Bats, that'll give me time to work on some other projects.

Just as an aside: I downloaded the Steve Rogers skins, and those are truly amazing -- the detail work on the pistol was stunning, and you definitely showed that Rogers was a little older than some in the facework. Awesome job.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Every time I think the meshing/skinning/skoping community has reached its apex, you guys find a way to do even more, even better. Simply amazing.
