New FF1 Problem w/ Steam

Hey all-

I fixed getting FFedit to run. Now, my game crashes as soon as I enter a campaign or danger room scenario. Here's the error message I get.


I am running the game on Steam.

Here's my computer info.

Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1
Gateway DX4720-03
Pentium Dual Core CPU E5200@2.5 ghz
4.MB RAM/ 64-bit Operating System

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Is this the for the main campaign (the Data mod) or another mod? If it's for the Data mod, check that there is no campdef.dat file in your Data folder. I don't recall the error looking like that, but something similar happens in FF when you click on the Campaign tab in FFEdit when it's on the Data mod. If that file is there, delete it and try again (and be careful not to click on the Campaign tab in FFEdit.  )

If it's something else, I don't recognize the error, but you might want to post your log files in case that's helpful for someone in figuring it out.
