There aren't nearly enough Invincible skins out there. Not nearly. I guess it's time for me to solve that.

I can't help it that I look so good baby! I'm just a love machine!

Artemis

Love it - the colours are really great - kind of like inks....they're bright and bold without being overpowering. Really nice.

Ewzzy

@Podmark: It's too bad he had to die, but at least he took out an evil Invincible in the process.
@Murs: So we agree. Excellent...
@Casanova: Wait till you see what's coming next.
@Artemis: Getting yellow to look right is the most arduous thing in the world. He spent a full hour of the process looking completely pastel.

Early preview:

Robot is coming!

@Outkast: Glad, I can make things Ewzzy for you.
@Locke: That had better not be your last post. Just cause we're not roommates is no excuse.
@Delorean: Well the mesh is Male_Basic compatible if you don't want to use the weapons.

Dang!  That is a really nice Rex!!!  Well done!

Thanks for the support everyone. Here's a vision of what I'm working on next.

Cyber Burn

these are all really impressive ewzzy. the colors of the skins are just really crisp and vibrant. i'm becomming a huge fan.

I've been using a slightly different coloring technique on these to create a slightly more cartoony look. I guess that's just how I see the Invincible characters. They're very archetypal with very vibrant hues. Emotionally and storytelling wise, there is plenty of gray, but not in the characters.

Time to meet Allen.

Expect next week to see releases of all these guys and probably two more.

Podmark

Awesome. Way back I'd wanted to do more Invincible skins, but ended up concentrating on other things. It's great to see someone else skinning them.

Are you meshing at all or is this all skope work?

Artemis

Lookin awe inspiring as always.#

They're really tall. Is everyone in Invincible a giant?

Ewzzy

@Podmark: I've been using Blender to tweak here and there. I went a bit overboard creating the head for Allen. The proportions and accessories are all done in Nifskope. Its still almost completely a skope. (I'd never consider myself a mesher.)
@Artemis: That's just a trick of perspective. They're all male_basic height.

Is it easy to work in Blender? If so I might give it a try.

Ewzzy

Honestly, the toughest part is getting it installed properly. You have to install six different things to get it to the point where it will read and write nif files. After that it's pretty easy. Mind you all I know how to do is move vertices and smooth/grab/inflate/pinch with the sculpt tool. I have no idea how to actually model an object from scratch, but I'll create a download package and tutorial sometime if you're interested.

Ditto.

miguelyanke

Ewzzy, let me give you and advice, why don't you add a 3D Eye and eyebrow to Allen?

laughing paradox

Ewzzy, your stuff rocks. I really like Allan and Rex-Splode's skope is insane.

Ewzzy

@AfghatAnt & Daglob: Then it's unanimous. I'll get to it soon.

@Miguel: Why don't I? I'm terrible at modeling. No clue what I'm doing.

@LP: Thanks LP. Rex was surprisingly easy, actually. The body is Gni's male_jedi including it's sleeves. I took the collar from TJ's Aim agent, and the pouches were cribbed from AA's Shatterstar.

As Invincible is my favourite superhero comic at the moment, these amazing skins make me very happy  If you keep releasing characters like those, I'm going to playing this game for awhile longer!

Just a query though ... how tall is the Allen skope? He's pretty big in the comics ... bigger than a tall human, anyway.
