I have managed to escape the undead horde here in Sioux City.  While hiding I finally had a chance to tackel a request from bigAl...



Also, I have been able to continue skinning tf/tv creations



And, lastly, I just need a laugh (in an alternate reality sort of way)!

Wonderful. I particularly like dreadknight  looks just like the classic comics. The colors and detail on the jester are great.

I would emphasise the Bat Logo a little more, but otherwise looking good. The others are just golden, really well made.

Hi everyone,

Below is a WIP...Inspired by AA, I am shifting gears to work on avatars for a bit....First up......

Sioux City Dynamo



This is a WIP and could really use some help with the design/look!  I was chanelling Superman Electro while working on him and like how he looks but he still needs works.  Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions on how to make him better.

Also, I would like him to have an effect similar to Tombstone where lightning dances around his body.  I have tried skoping the lightning from Tombstone to him but the fx does not work.  I am thinking it may somehow how be dependent on the keyframes  .  Any suggestions on how I could generate something similar?

Nice to finally see your avatar SCD. I like it. Though it wasn't what i expected. ( Maybe i was expecting something like Crimson Dynamo or something doh! ... )

I'm with Podmark on the belt. I like the lightning effect it seems to have.

As for lightning effects surrounding the body, Gren's Electro seems to have that kind of effect but there could be others i'm sure. It's hard to become familiar with all of the meshes.

Thanks for the feedback and the suggestions!  I appreciate it.

AA, I tried your skope but the FX only works with the Tombstone keyframes.  I settled on a skope using Beyonder's Human Torch.

With that in mind, here is Sioux City Dynamo complete with lightning fx.  Also, the Golden Age Sioux City Dynamo............and wait a minute, when did Sioux City Dynamo visit Angel Grove?

I don't know how much I dig the negative face, personally, but everything else about these is fantastic. The lightning effects really finish it off, and the Ranger version is fantastic. Dig the scale mail arms.

But my favourite, design wise, is probably golden age. What can I say? I'm a sucker for those simple, but awesome, costumes.

  Funny how you mentioned using a human torch mesh Dynamo. It was the first thing i had in mind to suggest but couldn't remember who made it and where to find it in my hard drive, so i can double check if it was a good suggestion or not. Since i wasn't sure and what particular mesh it was, i didn't go through with it.

Wow alternate costumes...and a power ranger theme doesn't seem that strange an idea in my opinion.

Happy Holidays everyone!

I have had the chance to pull together a few new skins....Let me know what you think....Also, I really like the way that AA displays his skins, simple - yet effective!  I have tried my hand at a similar style and like the way these came out.



Tried the Tempest mesh from Gren.  Really like the way it came out and the way the lighting appears and disappears with different animations.  Very similar to the way I envisioned the character.



Had to update my Isis skin to this mesh.  This mesh is spot on and beats my skope by miles!   



Always wanted to do this guy!!




Same with Doc Samson.  Always wanted to skin this character!

These look great. Thanks for updating Isis to Gren's mesh. I was in the process of doing this myself with your original skin, but you've saved me the work. I also remember having a skin of Doc Samson in the costume he had in his own series a little while back. I lost in a hard drive crash and haven't been able to find it since. So, thank you for doing the version I've been looking for. I've always liked it. The face on Fang is awesome. I like the textured feel of his costume, but I think that, perhaps, the highlights are drowning out the colors a bit too much. Maybe reduce the opacity a bit.
Anyway, these all look great and I can't wait until you release them.
