doubtful. it's a lot or work and most of the fx that were made for FF would take ages to transfer to FFvsTTR. plus most arn't around to give permission

I will admit that it does seem doubtful since it's been so long since 6.0 was released and since FFvTTR was published. Also, I see it's been nearly a year since abenavides last visited this board. And the_ultimate_evil has a good point in that many of the folks who contributed to EZ FX are not around or involved in Freedom Force anymore.

However, I am an eternal optimist. Perhaps if we raise enough interest in such a project and try contact some people, something might happen? Compared with the nearly 900 FX that the original version added, the 180 FX that the FFvTTR version includes is... sadly lacking. As awesome as those 180 FX are, frankly, I'm surprised that everyone was satisfied with stopping at the initial 6.0 release. To me, this alone is a good reason to make mods for FF instead of for FFvTTR!

Also, if this project were to be continued, I do not see why abenavides would have get permission from those who contributed to EZFX 5.1 in order to convert and include more of those into a newer version. The way I see it, this would just be a newer version of the same project they already gave permission to.

You know that prev has put out a huge amount of FX for FFvTR?

He recently released his PFX Pack that includes like 200 FX (scroll to the bottom).
