Hi everyone,

I have been playing around with Nifscope and have learned that if you right click above the mesh in the viewing window you get an option under Batch to make all skin partitions.

I have played around with this a few times to add partitions to converted FF meshes inorder to address the issue with shadowing in FFvsTTR.  However, every time I have used the function it causes the mesh to crash ctool2. I am sure it has to do with the settings for the partitions.  Unfortunately, I have no idea what settings might work. I have even tried reviewing FFvsTTR only meshes in the hope that I might be able to reverse engineer something.....Alas, I believe I am in over my head.  :(

Has anyone tried this and gotten it to work? If so, would you share the settings you used?  If not, are there any suggestions for how to determine what the settings should be?

Any thoughts, suggestion or guidance would be most appreciated.

Respectfully,
Io

Hi Googles,

Thanks. I have tried this technique and can not get it to work for some reason.  When I run ffvt3rskinpartition-1.0.win32.exe I gen an error that says could not create key ffvt3rskinpartition-py2.6 and could not set key value python2.6 ffvt3rskinpartition-1.0

Any idea what my I am doing wrong?
