Stephy Grayson

Hi guys.
I'm John Jr's wife and I'm watching him play and mod for FF for months and I wanted to say "thank you" for this community for all fun moments we got from your creations.
I really love some of the meshes (like Tommyboy's Modern Supergirl, I love the way her hair moves). So I decided register and post. This forum needs more girl, so we'll get more fashionable skins (the civilian female garb is terrible!) :D

Tawodi Osdi

Welcome!  I'm fairly new to this also and have found the people very open to newbies.  If there is a way to make the civilian women more fashionable, the people here are the ones to do it.

JeyNyce

Welcome and have fun!

Welcome! (I'd add some cryptic in-joke that only posters who have been around for years would get, but I think I've forgotten all of them...)

Everyone likes pie.

Ninja Dominicron is a great read.

Stay away from the cloning chambers.

Assuming that it's a real girl and not a bot.  There is absolutely no reason to keep her away from the cloning chambers.  As she said, we need more girl here.

Favorite kind of pie?

And yes, it is a great read.  I heard there was a new graphic novel planned for the fall.

Oh, and welcome.

daglob

Nothin' BUT a buncha clones around here, if ya ask me...

Tawodi Osdi

Which leads to an important question, if you push a naked clone off of a building will it be; A) murder, B) Suicide, or C) making an obscene clone fall?

John Jr.

Well, I'm sure she's not a bot, since I'm married to her...
And she would run in panic if she read some of the jokes here...

Well we only have your word for it, don't we?  You could BOTH be bots!   :o

I saw that documentary where the computers became sentient and then rose up in an attempt to destroy humanity.  Message boards didn't feature strongly, as I recall, but then again perhaps this change of tack is just the thing a sentient computer would do, to try and fool us all...

Of course, on the off chance my instincts are awry this once, I suppose I should welcome you to the boards Stephy.

then feel free to encourage her to post more.  and the bot thing was more in reference to the clone joke than her being a bot.

That's like rule 8 or something.

Welcome welcome!  Your husband is a very talented fella, and it is really cool to hear about a wife who encourages her husband in such a nerdy, but utterly awesome, hobby!  I hope you enjoy the boards and the community here, it is undoubtedly one of the best on the web. :D

Benton,
Truthfully I'm nerdier than John :D But I'm glad he has his hobbies and like see him working in FF. It's great know people with similar tastes to ours!

Hi, Glitch Girl!
I was happy to know you likes cats and books, just like me. FF really needs more estrogen, like kissing cutscenes :D I'm reading Jane Austen's "Emma", I love XIX century literature.

Have you any idea how hard it is to make characters kiss using only standard combat animations?

Welcome to the boards, Stephy. :D

hey stephy.  you make the claim of being nerdier than mr. jr.  which begs the question, what nerdy things do you like?  and welcome.

I'm a trekkie, and I even had a teenage crush on Mr. Spock. And I'm a big Star Wars fan, and Luke Skywalker was another teenage crush. OK, that was before I met John :D
I like to read comic books, specially Wonder Woman and DC heroes, and I played DC Heroes RPG with John and our friends for years.
I was John's "cheerleader" when he played in Heroclix championships and even created a topic in a Brazilian Heroclix forum calling the other girls to support their boyfriends/husbands too.
Nerdy enough to you, boys? :D

Well, thats all that's available in the game, animation wise, unless you're using Eve's mesh.

I managed to get two characters to hug using drop_pole and a ranged animation once, and got two characters in the background of a cutscene kissing using hover and drop_pole? I can't remember now...

Come to think of it, I created a bunch of "super-kissing" FX in my latest work. I do what I can to incorporate snogging into Freedom Force wherever possible.

And that's an impressive nerd resume you've got there.

Sorry, buddy. Stephy's kind of unique (OK, she has two brothers, but they don't count, right?).
