Hey everyone.

This is my first post ever on this forum because I was waiting for something that I would be (sortof) proud to show.

I would love if someone could give me feedback on this Kal-L Black Lantern.

I used Courtnall6's basic skins and also used parts of the face of his Kingdom Comes Superman..

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Not bad at all for a first skin. Best feedback I could give is keep at it. Like anything else in life, they more you do it, the more you improve. Be sure to check out other skinner's files in photoshop to see how they approach certain things.

You're off to a great start. This is leaps and bounds better than my first skin.

the only criticism i could possibly level at you is to make the green a bit weaker on his skin, but thats just me, and what you have so far is better than anything i could have done.

I would recommend removing any KC Superman parts of the face by using a straight base skin, or altering a base skin, especially if you plan to make it available for download.
Otherwise, the only suggestion that I have would be to brighten the whites on the midsection, IMO, having the white stripes on the upper body, and the white boots, distracts me, and pulls my eyes away fromthe rest of the skin.
For anyone, and everyone, who has ever done anything to improve the FF/FFvs3R gaming experience, I want to say thank you. Life is so short, and you have all brought me so much joy. I hope that one day, I am somehow able to return the kindness and generosity that all of you have shown.

Y'know, if that cape has an alpha channel, you can make it into a hand...

To be fair, the only part that's copy pasted from KC Superman is the hair, but I agree with you,  Amazo Version 2.2, next one should be completely from scratch.

I was thinking the same thing, that the skin was maybe too greenish. It's something I'll have to fix...

now that you mention it, the hair looks a bit too shiny for the rest of the skin.
and on his lower belly, the smudge spot for a shadow carries over into the design line.
otherwise, it looks good, i would put him in my game.

I would suggest some tweeks to the whites too. It looks to me that you inverted the blacks to make the whites. The problem with that method though is when you do that the shadows are backwards (look at the abs). I did the same thing with my Omega skin originally and I didn't notice at first either but every time I looked at it something irked me (I ended up fixing it for the update). Instead of inverting the section you could hue it so the black is a light blue and the highlights are white or you could play with the levels if you prefer white/gray instead of white/light blue.

Definitely heed area's advice about the white parts of the skin..  it takes practice to get it how you like.

I would also suggest to read the tutorial on seams, as they can greatly improve the look of a skin. I believe it's found on the frwiki.
