If you want impressive battles:
_no passive defense. long battle with "dodge" poping up every second is not interesting. Exception: deflect and reflect can be fun (a dozen of bullet bouncing of superman can look impressive)
_decrease dodge.
_increase HP (to compensate for lack of dodge). the FFX attribute "resilient" is easy to add to your characters to give them more life.
_increase knockback (people flying into a building is fun)
_add sound to your fx (explosion, lasers...)
_choose cool-looking/impressive fxs for your powers
_use voicepack whenever possible. silent character are boring, but just having them shout and scream at each other is pretty cool.
_use M25 A.I generator to have your characters do cool stuff (espacially use their ffx powers)
_if you have gun-using characters, lower the precision and add more shots to each attack (3 inaccurate bullet instead of an accurate one)

It's really a matter of hero file actually...
Maybe the modders will have better ideas to script a few thing to spice up your battles

Hi thanks I'll give that a try...yeah after being away from the scene for a few years i guess ive gotten used to a lot of games being pure chaos.  Which  :ffvstr: is not at all w/o some help.

Is there a place to download sound files for adding to FX?  Can I just use any old .mp3 that i find?

If anyone else has any tips they can provide to add a lot of intensity to the battles i would really appreciate it.

Thanks

I was wondering if someone could tell me how to speed up battles in  :ffvstr:  (*already ran my characters thru FFX3 AI)

What i mean by that is i can tell during battles that a character will:

Perform action >  then there seems to be like a 1.5 second delay calculating something > Perform action >  then there seems to be like a 1.5 second delay calculating something > Perform action >

so on and so forth....

is there a way to reduce that delay in-between performing actions? its like it's trying to think what to do

Thanks

If you read the manual it has some suggestions, I believe.
