Finally finished Darksiders

Absolutely loved this game. I do have some questions though for those that finished it too.

Who do you think the woman is that offered Abbadon the mantle of the Destroyer? I was thinking Lilith. I believe that Samuel is Darksider's version of Lucifer and was once the ruler of Hell. Somehow he was dethroned and stripped of his powers. I assumed that the "chosen 4" were co-conspirators of this. Then there is Abbadon who is Darksider's version of Michael the Archangel. His plan was great and might have worked if not for the Counsel whipping up their own plan. His accepting the mantle of the Destroyer was not really believable though. He was trying to destroy the Kingdom of Hell not become it's next ruler.

Speaking of kingdoms. I interpret that Heaven is not ruled by the Creator in Darksiders. It is the home and kingdom of the angels. Perhaps ruled by a council of archangels of which Abbadon was head of. Like in the show Supernatural, the Creator seems to be absent. Perhaps sitting on a throne in his own kingdom separate from that of his creations.

Darksiders 2 is going to be a massive blood bath. The Charred Council, Azrael, Samuel, they will all die at the hands of the four horsemen for treason against the laws of the Creator.

So this was a good game? I keep considering to put it on my buy list but I wasn't sure. I'll have to at least add it to my gamefly list for this month.
