Skins as artwork = problems?

Also, i'm considering using my FF skins as print ideas, however I'm not sure it would be considered my work if I used someone else's mesh. Even with my own base skin. Or am I wrong. Should I stick to Irrational meshes as they're basically a kind of free ware?

Basically I'd like to use my skins as the basis for t-shirt prints, I'd probably work on top of images captured in CTool, maybe collage and paint over, to create something like the images in my thread.
But I am just unsure about the concept of which meshses would be morally/ethically correct to use?

You have my permission to use any of my meshes which contain only my own work (ie anything that has the suffix _tv, _tvlite, _tf) for such purposes. Can't speak for anyone else. Hope that helps a little.

If it worries you that much just ask permission from the mesher that created the mesh you want to use.

then i would suggest printing out the flat skin just to be safe

I completely misunderstood. sorry.
its for images which will go into my portfolio.
so as long as I print the flat skin aswel as the skin on a mesh I should be pretty much safe? (and as long a sI have the permission of the meshers)
