Why won't anyone release, say, a Flash content pack, with a variety of skins, FX, and the Rogues? Because the "hows" and "whys" have been endlessley debated on these boards to such a degree that freely available fan-art created for an old computer game is now viewed as serious art.

uhmmm...why not give it a mission or 2 and call it a mod? i can totally see it, replace all the ingame characters with different flash heroes; wally, barry, impulse, johnny quick, wally's kids, etc. and replace all the bad guys with the countless rogues...that would actually be fun to play. it might seem peculiar, but the way this community works is most skinners/skopers/meshers/fxers would be honored their work is included in a mod, but offended at a content pack. and there is nothing wrong with that. as a mesher, i personally don't care if i were in a contect pack but the idea of being in a mod is much more appealing. is that understandable?
i am personally offended at the implication that what i do is not 'serious art'. art is art. it comes from the heart and spirit no matter what the format. these things we make are not mass produced toys for the 'instant gratification generation'. i speak only for myself. but i do what i do because i love it. it is 'serious art' to me. and i appreciate every single peice of art that comes from this community. feh. 'fan art'. as if it being made by a fan and given to you for free were something to scoff at.

Actually, someone has already started making one. Well sort of. Cripp12 was attempting to make a master skin list of some kind a few months back. It may not be exactly what you're asking for but i figure a skin list covering more characters than your average master mesh list would be close enough?

It's been a while since he updated us on it's progress though. Last i heard he was still not finished, and his list was already running around 3000 or so.

Total right now is 6934 if anyone is interested.  I ran out of energy.

Nice to hear from you, Cripp12. That is one HUGE list you've compiled so far man. Only natural for anyone to get burnt out by it. I think there will be more than a few people who will be interested and appreciative to all the work you've done so far.

There will be an all-in-one mod for FFvTTR. It will have a lot of new FFX stuff and some new skopes and FX. When it's done I'll be PMing certain interested people with the link. I'm not releasing it this way because the mod is "illegal" (because it isn't), it's because, as a mod creator, I can choose who I don't want to get it. The other creators of content in the mod have given permission (in various ways) to do this, no need to question it. I won't be replying about this anymore as everything I need to say has already been said.

I'm aiming to finish it hopefully before the years end.

I was trying to help someone get what they were looking for (my hero files) while still remaining in hiding and, at the same time, let anyone else who wanted my hero files know that they should email me. I was looking for USAgent, because he was a friend, and wanted to let him know I was back, but he was MIA at the time.
When I first confronted you (as I had already confronted IPS several times before you on other issues) in the DCUG debate, I started getting all this immature crap going on outside FR (in my email, yahoo groups, my site going down, etc.). I finally had enough of it all and left FR and, months later, came back as TrajkLogik and ended up confronting you again in a thread without you knowing it was me. I started getting all the same crap going on at my trajklogik email and yahoo group. So, by making the alternate username and confronting you again, you have proved my theory that it's been you all along. Why can't I voice my opinion on a subject that is opposite to yours and not receive all this immature, IPS-like behavior from you? You are narcissistic and delusional.

Alright folks, I believe that's about enough of that.  If y'all want to continue this argument in Personal Messages, that's completely fine.  However, this is not the place to do it.  If y'all would like to try and hash out your differences with an impartial third party, that might not be a bad idea, but I think we can all agree that a personal conflict like that which your conversation reveals shouldn't really take over someone else's thread.

Star, I can only try to understand how you or Kobelee feels about this.

I know there are just thousands of fan/user made content out there that any freedom force fan would love to collect.

Collecting/downloading all of them would indeed be quite tasking and time consuming.

But the way i see things is like this, these are all their work were talking about. These people didn't have to share them or make any of them available for anyone to download but they did. They were generous enough to think of other fans (like you or me) who might want to use and enjoy their work as well. I think the least i could do to thank them is to think of them in return and respect how they want their work to be distributed.

We all have our differences. I think it would be best if we just try to understand and respect each other.
