Maybe one of you guys knows what's going on here. I have these skins made by Murs47. I can see his work in Character Tool and Nifskope with no problems whatsoever.

But when i try to look at the tga files via Photoshop 7...

This does not happen with every skin though. Only a select few. For example, i can see the tga file for his Union Jack skin, Steve Rogers and so on.

Spoiler

I've yet to encounter this problem with any other skins made by the rest of you guys. The first time i saw this was with the VxmaleV2 standard skin. I can only see colored wireframes when i tried viewing the tga file via Photoshop. Yet the skin was complete if i viewed it using Character Tool.

Oh, now I see what the issue is. In the Layers palette click on the Channels tab, click on the layer named "alpha" and fill it white or delete it.

Actually..the same thing probably happens to Black Panther as well. In the game, when you defeat a character using Daredevil or Black Panther skins by Murs, the skin will vanish and the extras remain. I've been wondering why that happens. This might have something to do with it..

Hm, actually..

When you defeat a character in the game that uses the meshes Murs' skins are attached to this seems to happen. I'm wondering if the standard skin being in .DDS format has something to do with it. No matter what skin you choose for the mesh, it will always revert to the standard .DSS in-game. If it's not available, it will simply vanish leaving only the extras floating on a blank body. Kind of lame.

***EDIT***
That fixes it! If you have trouble with any of Murs' skins on certain meshes, just go in as he explained and remove that alpha channel layer.

Thanks FF. I'll have to go back and fix things.

No problem!

I pretty much gave up on finding a solution for the problem, then I came across this thread and thought, "Well, it's worth a try". I honestly thought it was a problem with the skoped meshes.

I clicked on the Channels tab, but saw only 4 layers. RGB,Red,Green,Blue. No layer named 'alpha'....strange..
