Call this a challenge, a proposal, a project, whatever.

It's two weeks 'til Christmas. I've already previewed Christmas-themed versions of The Superfiiends over in Skin-A-Rama. It's my idea for a Christmas present to the whole community. Last year I did Sandy Claws:

My challenge/proposal is for anyone else interested to do something similar. This isn't a contest, it's just for fun.

What I mean is, ANYONE can enter. If you do skins, ever wanted to do a skin, think you might want to skin, never wanted to skin, if you can lay in blocks of color over a C6 base and set the blend mode so that it colors the base, if you kittbash with the best of them (on permitted skins-mine for instance), if you want to load your own skins and use the sliders in Photoshop to trim them out in red and green, ANYTHING. Join in.
Christmas, New Year, Hannuka, Quansa, Winter Solstice, Saturnalia, The Feast of the Pig... whichever holiday you celebrate just do something.

Meshes, voices, and SFX are a whole different prospect. If anyone whose field of expertise lies in one of those areas wants to contribute-GREAT. Otherwise, make a skin, or don't, but have fun looking at the pics of the characters, offer comments, and, if you wish, download some of the silly things when they are posted.

For those who do participate, there will be no prize beyond the pleasure of participating in something rather silly and getting a bunch of skins and maybe some other stuff that won't be used until next year when someone does a Christmas mod.

As for posting the stuff, that is up to whoever does the work. I was thinking of making a Character Obscura 7 just for posting the stuff. It would not require membership so anyone could post (I'll try to make the settings so that we won't get flooded with spam). If someone wanted to post it on their own site, just tell everybody so we can enjoy the fruits of your labors.

You don't need to say "I'm in", you don't need to choose a character (like, how many Superman skins do YOU have?), if we end up with more than one Captain Christmas or sets of red and green uniformed Fantastic Four skins, so what?

This is for fun, and to spread a little Christmas cheer.
