and a quick warm up skin/recolour to practise

warm by the ultimate evil, on Flickr

ok and here's where you lot come in, i'm going to be doing skins differently from this point on. the truth be told i'm finding it harder and harder to get motivated for the game, i dont know what it is but i need to find a way to combat it. and i think i've found a way.

from now on i will do skins in pairs one a re-do of an existing skin( same character but possible new look) and one a brand new character. the catch is it must be one hero and one villain. this can be either way new hero/old villain, old hero/new villain.

so i ask what of my old skins need a re-do. any and all that i have released from dragon force upwards.

this is not a free for all in requests if you do try this i will ignore you now and in the future completely. i have no interest in what new characters you want me to do i'm only interested in which of my skins you feel need a new attempt

the next two have already been picked

Rhino and Daredevil? Cool. With the newer meshes/skopes that have been done for them, updated skins to go with them would be very cool.

100% agreed

Podmark

Great looking skins, especially fond of the face work. Also is that movie Shredder? Sweet.

As for reskin suggestions I think Nightwing, Scarecrow, or Booster Gold would be good choices.

These are all awesome, TUE!  I love that Vision and that Shredder!  That's an interesting idea as a way to spark your interest.  I'm afraid I don't have many suggestions.  Your skins are pretty amazing, and its hard for me to see them and think, 'hey, that one could be improved.'  Either way, I can't wait to see what else you'll be doing!

I agree with Podmark on what he said about Shredder and Vision TUE ^_^, they are so cool and yet amazing :D. Your skins are pretty amazing, I hope you bring us more new stuff for us to experience and I can't wait to what else you will do and show us. Until we meet again, check ya later ;).

cheers guys but seriously fire away i wont be offend, thats why i asked what skins right from the start do you feel could be redone

one a somewhat related note i was digging around way back machine and found the old dragon force site and it actually gave me a few dates

it turns out my first ever community release skin was done on 15th January  2003 with a standard for a mesh which was typically hordak lol. still cant thank gren enough for that

it then seems i joined DF officially a few months later on 10th april 2003.  ten damn year doing this crap lol. what happened

Cyber Burn

Not familiar with DF, it was before my time. Would you be able to post a link? On a side note, did I see correctly that on your website you previewed a base skin? Pretty cool.

martialstorm

I really like your skinning style UE, the material texture's really make them stand out

Agreed, the texture work on the Composite Superman/Batman really adds depth to the overall finished product.x

Sioux City Dynamo

Very nice skins UE!   I really like Vision.

Tomato

Obviously you should skin my avatar again. Because I'm obviously more awesome then whatever else you're doing.

But no, seriously, anything batman related works for me. I've said this before, but I really like anything you do regarding Batman characters, you do a better job translating them to 3d than most other skinners on here can, including myself.

AfghanAnt

I love the textures on Composite Superman.

Amazo Version 2.2

you have some raelly great skins there evil, i have to say that i am not familiar with your older work, so i couldnt fairly make any suggestions on anything to redo.
For anyone, and everyone, who has ever done anything to improve the FF/FFvs3R gaming experience, I want to say thank you. Life is so short, and you have all brought me so much joy. I hope that one day, I am somehow able to return the kindness and generosity that all of you have shown.

windblown

Very nice skins. I especially like the Vision.

As for the suggestions, I'd say Firestar or Nightwing (both of them are great skins, but I'd like to see new versions of them).

Wow, those are amazing TUE!  That Daredevil is downright beautiful!  I love the detail work on his face and mask.  That is really intricate and nice.

As for your call for previous skins for you to revisit, I think Firestorm is a good idea.

I agree with both Tomato and BentonGrey (Benton) on this one TUE ^_^, both Rhino and Daredevil are so awesome for the way they look and how you designed them so far and they are so cool . As for your call for the previous skins that BentonGrey (Benton) wanted you to revisit which Benton mentioned to you, I also agree on what Benton said about it plus I also agree about Firestorm being a good idea as well . I do hope that the final versions of the characters that you are working on will come out looking excellent in their finished design versions whenever you finish them, and I do hope that we will all enjoy them when they come out for us to download and play with on :ff:. Until we meet again, peace out and I'll see you all later ;).

Those are some really impressive skins TUE. I really love the texture for the Rhino's hide and Daredevil's face looks really well done.

There really isn't anything that I could say that hasn't already been said, these are some really nicely executed skins TUE.

windblown

Both of them look great, but that Rhino is amazing!

Cyber Burn

I have to say, I went back to look at the Preview Pics (I almost always do), and I really have to say that your texture work on these two is just amazing. I am just really impressed.

Outcast

I like the textures and all the little details you've done for Rhino.

The colors are bright and colorful in Daredevil. Loving the baton. :)

Deaths Jester

I see someone has been picked up my former textured skin crown...hmmm...must do something about that.....go work UE.
Avatar picture originally a Brom painting entitled Marionette.

deano_ue

cheers guys, just out of curiosity does anyone watch the speed skin videos i enjoy doing them self as its a cool way to re-watch the work, but does anyone else  have an interest in them

Thunder

Wow.  I just went back to school after 26 years to get a certificate in web design.  Before now,  I've only used paint Shop Pro.  I am just beginning to learn Photoshop.  TUE, you've really made me excited to learn it. Daredevil was the first one of these I watched.  Now I can see what work goes into skinsmuch better than the ones I've done.  I can't wait to skin like that...it seems the Photoshop tools are superior to paint Shop.
