Hi everyone. I just played both games and i loved them. Since unfortunately it seems there won't be another game, i wonder which are the best campaigns mods that continue FFVTTR or simply uses the characters of FFVTTR or FF.

Patriot City Tales is a great recent one (from Benton Grey, Premonitioner, John Jr. for FFVTTR), found here (a little more than halfway down the page)...

http://frp.unlimited2.net/mods/

There is also Liberty Bay, which takes place in the same universe (just with new characters in a nearby city)...I can't recall if there are any guest-appearances from FF characters or not, though...It's here (also for FFVTTR)...

There is also the Patriot City free-roam mod, here...

Don't forget to check out Premonitioner's list of mods at the top of the mods forum.

EDITED to correct PCT's creators.

Thanks for recommending PCT Dana, but it's not all mine.  The multi-talented Previsionary and the inimitable John Jr. also contributed missions for it.  It was a collaborative project! :D

Let me second the recommendation on all of Dana's suggestions.  Liberty Bay is one of the highest quality mods that the community is produced, and though it is sadly unfinished, it is still a good time.

Patriot City free-roam is a really neat experience, showcasing the scripting genius of the now retired Dr. Mike2000.  It's pretty fun to be able to adventure in a "living world" of sorts with the FF characters.

If you haven't downloaded PCTales just yet, I'd recommend holding off for a few more days.  I've been very busy this last week fixing bugs and making improvements in a number of my mods, and I'll be putting out full releases of a few more projects soon, including PCT, that should be a lot more polished that previous releases.  JJ and I will be finishing up the last episode of PCT eventually, and I will likely be unveiling another FF universe related project sometime before the end of the year.

Ohh, and welcome to the community Ringsofrexor!  Hah, I love your name, man.

:EDIT: Whoops, ninja'd by Prev.

Cyber Burn

I haven't had a chance to play the PCT mod yet, so I look forward to downloading the updated version.

Welcome to the community Ringsofrexor, another mod you may want to check out is the "Son of Custom Force X" mod at the Champions of Freedom website.

You can find it in Yellow Lantern's section.

Thanks CB, I hope that you'll enjoy it!  That's a great suggestion, I had forgotten (to my shame) YL's excellent mod.  It's sort of a FFvTTR 2.0 in some ways.

Thanks a lot!!! It says so much about the games that the community is still so active. I'll wait for the PCTales and give the other a try and maybe in the near future i could try to make one myself.

I believe the one you're talking about is simply called m25 mod.  Not sure if it is available anywhere though.
