Irrational Games meshes?

I've seen quite a few skins that are made for "male_basic" or in another case, "evil_civilian_male". I figured it might just be me missing something, as usual, but nowhere in the game directories, including the appdata directory, do I see any of the "original" meshes that are in the game, such as Minuteman's mesh, civilian meshes, or the "basic" meshes.

Using the Steam version, if it matters. Should I reverify the game cache again, or are they somewhere else in the game's files?

They are in the art.ff file. Open it up with winrar and you'll see a character directory with all the meshes in it
