How much is too much

I've been getting an out of memoy error whilst in the game, specifically when looking to edit hero files from within the game itself.

On most meshes (about 95%) I'm good. But on some, the game bugs out and gives me an out of memory error.

These meshes do seem to be the more complex ones (murs Captain America bucky, and Spiderwoman, for example)

I've got somewhere in the region of about 750 meshes and hero files, and I know that the game can chuck a flid the more stuff you try to cram into it, but with a 4GB memory, surely it should be able to handle more than that.

Granted, I am running FFX3 through my Steam copy of FFVT3R, so maybe its just a combination of those things thats causing it to have a wobble.

So how many meshes, skins and hero files are too many, and do I need to be a little less ambitious in my scope?

I had read somewhere that it was best to keep the hero files actualy in game low as it eats resources. The game might load all of them during play. Wherever it was, I think they said it was best to keep them off to the side and only put the ones you were actually using at the time in the main game diractory. Some of the other guys here might be able to tell you more.

LOSE POCKET.

Eventually your machine will be maxed out and it seems you've hit yours. I hit mine at around 850 hero files, so I dropped the count down to around 800 files and just decided to work within those means.
