I have downloaded a copy of Windows 7 from an academic site for a class project. I am asked to install it to a virtual computer and do my Windows 7 labs from there. I installed the virtual pc just fine but I am stuck as to how to install the os to the virtual pc. Information that I gathered tells me to capture the ISO image from within the virtual pc. The problem is that there is no ISO image in the os I downloaded. There is just the setup installer. Not sure what to do, any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

Yep, I posted before I googled. I found the solution. Thanks tons for your help though. This community is simply the best.

Well, we ARE kinda awesome.

Speak for yourself.  Most of us are fully-qualified-awesome.  It's just some like yourself that are only *kinda* awesome.  Your score is dragged down by the whole pony thing....and eating people's faces.  Just sayin'......

Hey, I don't eat people's faces (that often)! I stab them. Totally different.

Besides, I was attempting to be modest about how awesome we are. We ALL know I'm 20% cooler then most of you... except Syn and Hitman, obvsly.
