FF1 problem

Hey Guys i can't get FF 1  to operate on my Windows 7.
I tried the XP Patch but then I can't get any of the Danger rooms to operate.
Is there a new Patch please let me know.

I can get it to operate as far as the game play and story mode is concerned but when I go tot he Danger room it just locks up on me completely.
The when I go to edit on ffedit and I hit edit in game level a white screen pops up and tells me FF had suddenly stopped working.
I do have Windows 7 so Im assuming that's the problem.

Is your Windows 7 , 32 bit or 64 bit?

Since you can get FF to work, and it's only in the Danger room that you're having trouble with, it maybe just the 1.3 patch that you need to make the game compatible with XP(SP2)..
