He probably doesn't like the Spidey T-shirt? Maybe he's more of a DC fan, who knows. Congrats PG. :)

But of course!  Yeah, he looks ready for action! :D

Of course, Benton, you'd say tha.  If it were up to you, this little weird plushy, plump human-esque thingie would be dressed as exactly like Aquaman and probably be telling the fish to poop somewhere else.

At his age, Aqualad might be more appropriate....

In honor of the wee one's first complete trip around the sun, I share this:

This is his preferred way to fill that annoying down time while eating -- with a book in hand.  He spontaneously started balancing the bottle (I have a feeling DJ had something to do with that) and picking up the books he dumps out beforehand.  And yes, those are Batman shoes he's wearing, as well as a Batman shirt.  And, yes, that *is* a cape attached to the shirt.

On a related note, the wife *just* informed me yesterday that she's planning to have a super-hero themed party for him this weekend (I didn't even have a hand in this one -- further proof of how awesome she is), but is having trouble finding good decorations.  We'll be checking Party City this evening, but in the event we can't find enough, I thought I could print some things out at work, but I need images that don't require too much work done other than cropping.  Does anyone have, or know links to, good sized & quality images of various super-heroes sans background?  I'd prefer late 70's - early 80's artwork if possible, but would also accept earlier, iconic looks as well.  The looks I know I want are Curt Swan (Superman), Neal Adams/Jim Aparo (Batman), John Romita Jr. (Spider-Man), John Buscema (Fantastic Four), John Byrne (X-Men), George Perez (Teen Titans).  I want Iron Man to be pre-Silver Centurion (I think that was the Mark IV armor), no belt pouches on Cap, green Hulk in ripped purple pants, Green Arrow to be wearing a hat, not a hood, etc.  I'll have just tonight & tomorrow night to work on these, so the less I have to do to them the better.  Will still need to spend time printing and possibly gluing to cardstock, if I can find any, and then possibly cutting to proper size/shape.  Any help would be appreciated.

What a very discerning 1 year old to prefer 70s and 80s comic art.

When he starts work with both hands while drinking from the bottle, then you can blame it on me...otherwise I had nothing to do with it...unless that is what he does and then yes, I taught him that when you weren't looking.  Gotta make sure every child is ready for their first bottle of booze.....

awww... that's just too adorable.

Not sure about your artwork, but have you tried looking up Stickers of said characters?  The online art might be what you need since they should be backgroundless.
