Well, I was a fan of NRS default Shazam, but after unlocking new 52 Shazam, I'm really loving it. I am however in love with NRS regime Black Adam. I think it is such an interesting design and really reflects the Eyptian theme of the character. Its the only Black Adam skin I use.

Yeah, me neither. The tropical one in the Batgirl trailer was cute because it was a nice nod to their history, but it really didn't need a 3-pack all on its own (or at least not three joker costumes.. a Brian Bolland style Batman costume instead of the dumb top hat Joker would have been cool). I'll still probably get it because I'm a sucker for alternate costumes and I DO want the "Red Hood" look, but otherwise... eh.

Agreed, the top hat look is unnecessary. Really should have came with Bolland Batman.

Batgirl's super move only works in the air. She has to be jumping.

And Batgirl is friggin' awesome in the game. Most fun character, by far. Looking forward to when (if) she gets alternate costumes. Her default is kind of ugly.

I agree, Batgirl is very awesome in this game. I know almost nothing about the character and now have to read up on her. Its like she has the skills of Batman and Nightwing combined. I wonder though if she is this incredible in the comics too or just in this game.

Babs is competent, but nowhere near Batman and Nightwing in skills department. But since its a fighting game and all I don't mind her being seemingly more skilled than she is in the comics, as long it's this much fun

Not gonna lie, i hate it when they do stuff like this. I mean srsly out of entire DCU they add one of their own? But on the other hand in my humble opinion Scorpion never looked better (still would have preffered a DC character). Oh and make sure to watch the entire video, really cool hint at the end.

Well, that's asinine.  Also, if that list is true, it is depressing.  So, there's basically no new characters coming?  I mean, there are an insignificant few, but nobody I care about at all.  Sad.  No Black Manta, no Hawkman, no Atom, no Martian Manhunter, no Mr. Miracle (a guy can dream, can't he?), and no Red Tornado.

Ed Boon teased on his twitter there's more characters to come for sure.  The game is a good seller so there is no reason not to have more characters available, he even had a poll on his twitter to see who is the most popular choice (Jason Todd as Red Hood won if I remember correctly). He said people have been most vocal about MM being included so he wasn't even in the poll, hence the teaser. So I'm optimistic

I suspect the lack of Martian Manhunter may have been a DC decision, personally. DC's been desperate to get people to accept the new 52 continuity (They forced Mattel to cancel the DCUC, just to have them re-brand it and release primarily new 52 stuff, which almost destroyed the entire line) and part of that is this whole "Cyborg is part of the big seven now, not Martian Manhunter!" nonsense.

Yeah, I'm not big on this one either. I'd much rather get Jason Todd, Martian Manhunter, Firestorm, Atom, Hawkman, and 90% of the Legion of Doom.

I didn't use to care for him, but "Under the Red Hood" is probably my favorite animated batman film of all time, and that film is driven entirely by the conflict over Jason's death and rebirth. Couple that with the work Grant Morrison did with the character in the pre-52 "Batman and Robin" book, and he's become one of my favorite Batman villains.

I actually went to see "Mask of the Phantasm" at the theater when it first came out. Definitely a great movie. But "Under the Red Hood" is right up there as far as quality goes.

For me personally? Absolutely. Admittedly, it's been a few years since I last watched MotP (and longer for Sub-Zero), in the cases of both "Mask of the Phantasm" and "Sub-Zero" those movies are less about Batman and more about the primary Antagonist. He's involved peripherally (In MotP he's trying to redeem Andrea Beaumont and in Sub-Zero he's trying to rescue Barbara Gordan) but it's more just same the type of drama with him that we saw in the animated series, except the animated series occasionally did a better job about it. They're good films, but they're not really about Batman.

By contrast, "Under the Red Hood" is all about Batman being confronted by his personal demons. The movie opens Jason's death, and much of the movie is spent showing just how much that loss affected him. I know it's not an area you particularly care for, but the death of Jason Todd was the biggest loss Batman's had since the loss of his parents, and it's all the more painful for him because, despite all the training and all the gadgets and all the strategies, he still failed to protect those closest to him. Bruce's sense of personal failure is what drives the narrative forward.

I kind of doubt it'd appeal to your personal tastes (especially since you outright refuse to accept that any robin other than dick grayson could exist despite the fact that every other fan is already past that nonsense) "Under the Red Hood" presents Batman at his most vulnerable, and it's easily one of the darkest animated films so far (I mean really, the opening scene is Robin being nearly beaten to death, then blown up. You don't get much darker than that.)

The action sequences in Under The Red Hood are great, maybe my favourite in the DC animated films. The voice acting is also top notch, particularly Jensen Ackles as Jason Todd.

Anyone tried Scorpion yet? He's actually pretty cool, but it's strange playing him in a gore-free game

Yep, I have the season pass too, so I get early access to him. I wasn't a fan of him joining the Injustice roster but now that I have played him, I like him. Jim Lee designed the costume, which I thought was pretty cool. Since NRS redesigned all the DC costumes, Jim Lee redesigned Boon's beloved Scorpion. He fits in pretty well I think. I like his story ending, fits in well with Scorpion's origins, being reborn into a hellspawn and all.

Looking forward to the new skins, especially the Red Son skins, loved that story.

As a huge Scorpion fan, I am loving his inclusion in the game. Though I would have rather it have been Martian Manhunter. I just wish they'd release the IOS skins as I couldn't get the game to unlock them.

Red Hood is a bit ... meh! for me, since we already have that excellent Red Hood skin for Joker. Same with Sub Zero, since we already have Killer Frost in the roster. I'd rather see someone visually different, like Plastic Man

All of that is speculation though (MM and Zod are kinda confirmed). Power Girl and Red hood were in the unofficial poll Boon posted, so they might be DLC, they might not. And no there won't be any Sub Zero, Boon said that Scorpion is the only guest character numerous times....

Since we have a lot of Bat characters already and if u take variety and popularity in consideration, my list (if u consider MM and Zod announced already) would be:

Swamp Thing, Dr. Fate, Amazo, Etrigan and Brainiac
