Assuming we do get MM next, we need some more non-batman villains in general. We have no Flash rogues, no Aquaman villains, and only 1 villain who is arguably a WW foe(btw, was I the only one who thought Ares was waaaay out of place in story mode?), but isn't nearly as recognizable as Circe or Cheetah.

At least Superman, GL, and Shazam got their archenemies. Give me Black Manta, Captain Cold, Reverse Flash, something.

K, just a quick rundown of different baddies and how they would work in a fighting game (with focus on Flash since he's being called out):

Aquaman:
Black Manta- Just... go watch Young Justice.

Flash:
Reverse Flash- Yes, he's kind of a clone of Flash, but so is Sinestro and no one complained about him being in the game. That said, I would argue RF would be more brutal and thuggish in his attacks.
Mirror Master- I see MM as being more akin to his appearance in JL: Doom, where he can create fake copies of himself, warps around the map, and get the jump on other players.
Trickster- Aside from the fun I'd have playing him against Joker (Mark Hamill did both) Trickster is the poster child for bizzare gadgets and gimmicks even more than Joker and Harley Quinn are.
Captain Boomerang- Long range fighter, using basically a better version of batman's batarang system (which, btw, is a pain).
Gorilla Grodd- Brute fighter, able to confuse opponents with mind control.
Weather Wizard- Has a staff that summons lightning, rain, tornados, etc.
Abra Kadabra- Future tech with a false magic twist. Putting aside the potential gameplay mechanics here, I imagine his shtick would irritate the actual magic users, which would result in interesting dialogue
Captain Cold-... yeah, no, I don't see it. Killer Frost already covers this area.

Wonder Woman:
Cheetah- similar to Catwoman, but more brutal and animalistic in her attacks. Cheetah is less about grace and fluid movements than she is attacking her opponent and ripping their throat out. Also, since the tail is real, I see that being included as a weapon in some of her specials.
Circe- Magic. I don't have to explain it.

Scorpion was automatically added to my game with the latest update, so I'm not sure if he's even one of the Season Pass characters or if he's just been added separately. Can anyone who didn't get the pass confirm one way or the other?

The way I understood if from an article I read (I forgot which one), Scorpion is available almost right away for Season Pass users, but he comes out as a DLC for everybody else on the 11th.

I have a hard time getting excited about the flash rogues gallery, but I do love Grodd (with a good writer he gives me the creeps). Circe also seems like a total no brainer.

As for myself I would LOVE to see:

Metallo: Hard hitting, hard blasting, similar to Cyborg. His chest opens for a kryptonite radiation stun attack. "Versions" include more human looking to more android looking.

Scarecrow: Purely because his "ultimates" would be INSANE. "Dart throw, punch, kick, pitchfork stab.. ULTIMATE: gas to the face for a good 10 second long nightmare".

Ragdoll: Generally a good, weird character... but imagine him in a fighting game (!). That would be... twisted.

scarecrow already got a very awesome cameo as a stage transition, I think that's sufficient. I'd much rather see some general foes from throughout the dc universe as opposed to any more batman foes.

I'd love to see some Flash villains, for sure.  I'd particularly like to see a classic Trickster, Mirror Master,  and Captain Boomerang.

Question for those who own the game:  Can you set skins for characters to use as a default, so that any time you faced them they'd look a certain way?

Looking at all of the available costumes, I'm fairly underwhelmed.  If they put out a classic costume pack, I'd buy that.

game picks a random costume of the ones you unlock. About the only one with a "Classic" costume so far is harley. They're doing a ton of red son and Blackest night costumes right now (I suspect a couple large packs are coming)

Just downloaded all the new skin packs on PSN, Red Son 2, Blackest Night and Arkham. I love love love Batman's Arkham skin, its the only Batman skin for me now. I really like the other skins too, especially the Red Son Bats and Green Lantern, love that story, but yeah, love the Batman Arkham skin.

I loved the Red Son story, but I don't have much interest in those skins.  Plus, I've got zero interest in all of their event centric skins.  Hopefully we'll see a classic pack.  Thanks for the answer, 'Mato!

Cyborg, Deathstroke and Raven have their classic look in the Teen Titans pack. I'm sure a classic look for most, if not all, the characters will be available eventually.

Ha!  That Conan bit was hilarious, especially the ending.   It seems Zod is fittingly Zod-like.  I love the "Kneel before Zod!" bit.

Also, I loved the fact that the assistant kicked Conan's backside with Aquaman while blindfolded.  That's beautiful.  The poor Sea King just can't get no respect.

I've just lost nine times consecutively, I haven't even managed to get ONE FREAKING RANKED MATCH which is all I want because I want the YL skin. And no, seriously, none of my matches even came close. I only got like one person down even a bar of health.

Seriously, I just want the freaking skin and I'm done. I will even give my account info to someone who can actually do this if they'll get the win.

So folks, I finally broke down and bought this game.  The thought of a DC video game with Aquaman as a central character was just a bit too good to pass up!  I'm roughly half-way through, I think, having gotten partway through Wayne Manor.  I'm certainly enjoying the game, and the story really isn't too bad...though it also isn't too great.  I suppose that, for a fighting game, it's about as good as can be expected.  The deus ex machina of the super-pill is just as stupid as I expected, but I like that the beginning of the game has, for the MOST part, characters fighting others of similar power levels.  The gameplay is decent, but I just really hate how hard it is to do things in a fighting game.  To be fair, that probably has more to do with the fact that I'm really just not very good at this genre, but still.  I really wish this was a more brawler-esq game where I had a nice, handy power menu instead of having to somehow get my controller to understand that yes, when I'm pressing right, I want you to go right, not jump in the air like a moron...*ahem* 

For the most part the characters are designed pretty well, but wow, the costumes just look utterly ridiculous for the most part.  Green Lantern doesn't look too bad, neither do Hawkgirl or Cyborg, but pretty much everyone else just looks ludicrously over-designed.  I like the evil counterpart costumes in context, though.  They look suitably evil and creative, at least.  They're a darn sight better than the stupid color-switch versions from Batman: Brave and Bold.  Harley Quinn's costume, while I suppose comic accurate these days, is really lousy.  Also, why the heck is Joker wearing a kevlar vest over his clothes?  Does that strike anyone else as utterly un-Joker? 

I really like that they gave Green Arrow the ability to actually, you know, USE his arrows.  That's good, though once again my clumsy fingers have a hard time doing the particular arcane rituals required to summon particular arrows.

Aquaman is super awesome!  He's by far my favorite, and not just because he's Aquaman, either, surprisingly enough.  He's just easy to use and quite powerful.  I REALLY wish they'd gone with another voice actor, though.  While I like this fellow, every time he speaks I'm looking around for John Stewart.

So, all-in-all, this is fun.  I'll probably play through the campaign and spend some time playing with friends, but I can't see this being something that I return to perennially.  If they were to do another campaign for it at some point, that I might be willing to try.

Ohh, what's worth unlocking and how should I go about it?  I see the S.T.A.R. Labs missions, but I wish there was a simple reference for what could be found where.

The star lab stuff is stupid and excessively difficult for a couple of blah skins (the best skin is n52 shazam, and I know you're just DYING for that.)

Going through classic arcade mode with each character is worth doing because you'll get a character specific ending, some of which are really cool. Wait until you've finished campain first though, as some include spoilers. I'm still putzing my way through them, and getting all the alt costumes (I've got about 3 left)

Awesome, Benton finally joins the Injustice family! Yes, Aquaman IS awesome and you are right about the voice actor, Phil LaMarr. I really like him, but sometimes he does sound too much like John Stewart. On another board somebody was complaining that Aquaman sounded "black". I laughed so hard when I read that. I absolutely adore this game and play it almost daily along with MvC 3 to get my superhero fix for both Dc and Marvel. I have plenty of complaints, the costumes being the first of them, but NRS did ok, I can deal. Being a Captain Marvel/Shazam fan, I have complaints about the model they used. Why is he so scrawny, while guys like Green Arrow and Green Lantern are so big and muscular? Mato is right about the STAR labs missions, they are an abomination to be avoided at all costs, unless you love to be extremely annoyed.

Big day tomorrow for Injustice fans. General Zod dlc is being released and for skins,  New 52 Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Blackest Night Batman, Hawkgirl, Aquaman, Earth 2 Hawkgirl, Flash, Solomon Grundy and Man of Steel Superman. Of course I'm getting them all.
