I have my original FFVT3R discs. After I reinstall can I just copy and past in mods and FFX from where I have them on a backup drive? Or do I need to dl and reinstall FFX? Thanks It's been a long time since I have been around.

Earl of Bronze! Welcome back. It's been a while since I've last seen you.

You CAN do that, but it may be safer and more effective to just reinstall everything in a fresh manner and then copy over the stuff you customized or need. For independent mods, you can def just move them over, but you may have to edit the targets of their .exe to match the new locations.

Thanks Previsionary, I have been trying to remember how it went. I will try copying first.

Welcome back! I'm not sure how long you've been gone, but the latest version of FFX 3.3 can be found here complete with a full installer. There's also a patch update for 3.3.

I am having a problem. The first thing I added after installation was the LSH Darkness mod. But when I try to make a shortcut I get an error:

The name C:\Program Files (x86)\Irrational Games\Freedom Force vs The 3rd Reich\ffvt3r.exe-game LSH_Darkness -log specified in the target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.

My new PC installs in Program Files (x86) for some reason. So I can run the original game but the first mod I tried fails.

Looks like you are missing a space between the exe and first parmeter, so the computer is looking for an app called "ffvt3r.exe-game"
