Icons - Legend of Zelda

I'm starting a new series of uploads called "Icons" - characters so well known that they are instantly recognizable when seen, no explanation needed. Most of the comic book icons have already been done, Superman, Batman, Spiderman, etc , so I'll try to deal with those from fiction, movies, tv and video games. The Looney Tunes and Scooby Doo I rigged were a start on this idea.

First up is Link and Zelda from the "Legend of Zelda" series of video games. First seen on the Nintendo system in 1986, The Zelda series now has 15 games over 6 systems with more on the way, as well as appearances in "Super Brawl Brothers" and a tv cartoon series. A very sucessful exclusive character for Nintendo.




Zelda is rigged to female_basic.

I rigged Link to male_basic, and detourne_me did an excellent job skoping it onto Taskmaster. Link comes with a melee sword attack and ranged attacks for bow, boomerang and flying shield. Thanks again to detourne_me for an excellent job and all his help.

Lighting may need to be adjusted.

I just wanna tell you, that I am a big fan of The Legend of Zelda and I really like what you did to make Link and Zelda in that format and style. They are really great, and I just wanna tell you that I really am a fan of the The Legend of Zelda games and the animated series that just came to DVD recently since I remember playing the Game Boy title The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. I really like them so much that I just downloaded them recently, tested them out in the Danger Room and I gave them some of the finest attacks just like in the game or whatsoever and they're doing great so far without any problems. I hope you make a related mesh to them, such as Ganon and/or Ganondorf, and I hope more of the latest mesh releases come to the FF Swap Shop Attic or wherever. Until then, keep up the good work and hopefully you will bring out something new to amaze us with in the world of    . Until then... CUL8TR!!!
