I downloaded the Cammy model from AfghanAnt, but it looks like a big white box on the custom character screen. But I also downloaded from Heroforce a She-hulk model that works perfectly. I've tested it on  :ff:, I haven't installed  :ffvstr: yet...
Windows 7 here too.
In the pod's skope.txt, I found a list of meshes, but haven't found where to download them.

Cyber Burn

Welcome aboard Rockerfox, I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to technical issues, so if I'm wrong on this, hopefully someone else will speak up. In  :ff:, if a skin is missing a texture file, then the white box appears. So check to make sure that each of your texture files has a corresponding (_refl) and (_glow) file. Ignore the parenthesis though, I just put those there to separate everything.

In regards to finding meshes, if you post in the request threads as to what you're looking for, I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction.

I believe that if it just looks like a big white box, then the mesh will not work for :ff:.

Typically the big white box means that the mesh is incompatible with the game. If it were just a texture error, you'd still see the basic outline of the model, but it won't have any textures.

I believe spydermann93 may be right, but it also wouldn't hurt to double check that the mesh was installed to correct location. I know that the mesh not being where it should be can also result in the game showing just a white block (although, that may be just for FFVTTR). Take a look at the tutorial here, just in case: http://frworld.wikispaces.com/Installing+skins+and+meshes

Actually, the entire FR World site is pretty helpful if you're just stepping into the world of Freedom Force.

Edit: I know you've installed another mesh and are able to view it properly, but it doesn't hurt to double check. Also, I checked the Cammy mesh and it uses tga art files and not dds, just in case someone was thinking about that.
