I put in like 6 hours on the weekend and really dug it... I played Daredevil, Punisher and Hulk and the 3 felt totally different in a great way. The hulk in particular really feels like you are a bull in a china shop.

Ugh, I tried to play as Iron Man and got totally owned by Hydra and the other bad guys on the Raft -- even after I geared up, leveled up, and got access to the energy shield.

Part of my problem was undoubtedly the low-end laptop I was trying to play on, but even so Shellhead simply should not go down that easily.  I lost count of how many times I got waypointed.  It soured me on playing any more this past weekend, since I knew I'd be stuck playing Iron Man.

That said, I've had decent experiences with Thing, and Daredevil was okay to play.  My biggest issue with the game is the mouse control.  I really don't like it and wish there were better controls for moving around.  It's too easy to mis-click and end up moving when you meant to be fighting.  I also have a problem with audio stuttering, but again that's just my low-end hardware.

All in all it's not a bad game, but I'd still rather be playing a hero of my own creation.  I doubt I'll be putting any money into this one, especially with Star Trek Online launching their "Legacy of Romulus" expansion later this month.

Yeah, as somebody who loves stuff like Torchlight I was very familiar with the controls, although I would not be surprised if you found Iron Man to be fragile, the game is very dependant on those Shield Medkits rather than just being tough. I would have prefert to not have to pop those things like tic tacs, and instead feel more "mightly" eventually falling due to attrition.

Daredevil takes a WHILE to get rolling (he starts really weak) and is heavily skill shot based but once you get used to him, he is a ton of fun against large groups. The punisher is all about burst, which I'm used from like 4 million hours of Leage of Legends... in other words hitting 2 or 3 buttons in rapid succession so I can launch a missile, dash in, then start shotgun blasting away.

Overal lots of marvel flavor. But yeah, we are in a FTP avalanch, I spent most of last night playing the new D&D game which is now in free beta.

I was beta testing this for awhile now but the game runs like crap on my computer, so I stopped. Don't see myself playing this one unless I get a better comp and that is not going to happen any time soon.
