Coward Enemies!!!

I have a very irritating problem with the A.I in game. When i combat enemies that can fly, they chickens almoste never land on ground! Ok, seriously now heroes like Sentry or Gladiator thast are very durable physically shouldnt relly on flying ability only. A soons as they land when i try to punch them they immediately take off again. I suspect its A.I mistake. The lackeys land only when i am stunned or when i pick an object and they are eager to reduce the distance. This is so irritating. Should i adjust something. Every time they are on ground and i perform a melee attack they go airborne. Come and get some, people!!!!!  :D

Which AI have you given them? Some are more prone to flying than others. I presume from what you say that you haven't created an m25 custom AI? That might give you better results.

Is this for FF or FF3R?

AND custom AIs can be customized further.  You can actually tell your characters not to fly too often.  I've had to do that in some of my mods.

Yes, run the M25AI generator found in any FFX-based mod. The AI will be vastly improved, only flying if they need to, not whenever you try and use a melee attack.

Also, in the M25AI file generated by the script, you can modify the file even more, as Benton said. Heck, you could make it so that they never fly, or they could fly when they are below a certain percentage of health.

I have literally never touched ai generator and i dont know its fuctions. I will definetrly dig. Benton i havent touched their ai since the arent braned and have the default ai for custom made heroes through in game editor. I will run the generator and post back, see what i can achieve. Thx for the respones as always guys. Oh, spyder um how should i open the py files? Do i need to download python or pythonwin as Benton suggested a while ago?

Oh, sorry. I should have described that to you.

You can open them via Notepad, but I use Notepad++. I only ever use Pythonwin for running .py files when I need them to run externally.

Also, all you need to do to run the m25AI generator is just select your heroes and villains the way would would for a normal rumble room session, and once the mission starts, it will generate the files. Just let it run and it will exit on its own.

Yep. figured it out. Sentry can finally showcase a million exploding suns power and not a million exploding-running form battle- speed  :D. Spydey, i installed the attributes. i like how you have categorised spped and healing factors. Couldnt thought better my self. Kepp going. I couldnt figure out however why sasquatch combo didnt have any cp points. Is it up to me to adjust it with FFEdit? Anyway i would love if you could make some more combo attributes for iconic DC and Marvel heroes if you had time and will to do it.

Oh, sorry!

Sasquatch isn't supposed to be a choice in there. He was from an old mod that I had that merely enabled some attributes that were still left in the code and in the strings.txt file.
