Moving all FFVTTR content onto a new PC

Hey,

im having trouble moving all my custom content into the game. I installed the game on steam regularly and copied and replaced the files that I had from my old laptop onto my pc. When i press play a steam error automatically comes up saying "its already running" then closes off. 

I tried a different tactic by deleting off steam and dragging my whole content of the game in the "steamapps" folder then install it again on steam. Steam located that the file was already created and it installed instantly. The result of that is it started but all my created meshes I have made are not appearing on the list only just on edit and my FX's and sound files that I have installed are also not appearing in the game. 

Does anyone know if theres a way to get around this because its getting on my nerves and i dont want to start from scratch again
