Glitch Girl

It's nice to post something fun for a change.

This week is my annual geek pilgrimage to Atlanta for DragonCon.  A hearty thanks to those who made it possible this year after all the problems - I wouldn't be able to go otherwise.  So far, I haven't missed a year in over 20 years (this might make 25, but I'm not quite sure what year was my first).

High on my priority panel list is seeing Jamie from Mythbusters (the only Mythbuster who I haven't seen at DC so far), a whole mess of voice actors (which includes Phil LaMarr, Rob Paulsen, Maurice LaManche, and John DiMaggio), Ed Asner, and probably more since I've only skimmed the guest list.  Abney Park is back and doing a midnight concert, so that will be fun.  And best part, I get to see my best friend in person instead of talking remotely.  Added bonus: one of my friends who hasn't been able to go for the past three years or so is finally able to come with us.

Only one costume this time (Riddler) since I haven't really had time to do much costuming-wise.

I will report later and hopefully get my photos up this time.

Y'know, if you take the interstate to Montgomery and hang a right...

Maybe one year.

You go and have fun!

Glad you were able to go GG. I always look forward to your DC reports and pics. :-)

Got back today, promptly fell asleep for 2 hours upon getting home.  Had a great time.  Will go into details later, but my personal high point can be summed up thusly...

Quote
Me: "Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"

Rob Paulsen: "I think so Marie, but if Alan B. Davis and Susan B. Anthony, who'd Bea Arthur?"

More soon!
