Your skin for Metallus is brilliant, deanjo, but I think I should have a thinner body. Although Metallus appears to be around 8 or 9 feet tall.
And this Moby Dick is identical to the cartoon!

An incredible job for The Incredibles, Randomdays.

Randomdays

Great job on Moby Dean! Looking forward to it!. If Cranlox keeps working on his, that could be 2 for Moby and 2 for Metallus.

I know we weren't happy with Bushroot because of all the problems it caused, I still have the problem with the textures but I thought it would be appropriate to share this model of it with you in case you still want to correct or replace something.

I also didn't forget your favorite cereal character, this is the best I could get, maybe treating it as if it were an stl you could give it texture and color for Quisp's companion, QUAKE

I hope you like them, and that they serve as a way of thanking you for everything you have provided here.

Thanks Cranlox! Much appreciated!

Bushroot will be added to the list for down the line.

Quake I might be able to put just the head on the MH Strongman I just did to save time.

Now, in other news, There's been a few requests over the years for some Inspector Gadget Characters. I was able to get all the main characters done except for Quimby - there's some models out there for him but I couldn't find any free ones.

Two versions of Inspector Gadget - one just a male_basic, and the other on Daglob's excellent movie Gadget

Penny is a male_child_10 body with a head transplant from an stl. The body skin is a major kitbash of one of Dean's skins he had done for me.

Brain is a stl file with simple skins on it. I'm not sure how much time he takes walking upright, but the head and neck, and collar, are separate pieces that could be put on a different body to make him stand upright.

The gadgetmobile, van, and Mad Van are from sketchfab and I think they're video game rips.

The pack is uploaded to the Classic cartoons folder.

DoctorRuina

Oh, this Gadget looks fantastic! Unfortunately we don't have many images of Doctor Claw. And this Brain looks like a puppy, doesn't he?

Randomdays

For Brain, I had to go with the model used in the stl. I think he doesn't actually look like a puppy so much in game or the viewer though. If needed, the body is separate from the head so maybe it could be enlarged on its own.

DoctorRuina

It must be a modern version of the character.

Randomdays

My source for Penny's head and Brain. About the only version I could find for free.

DoctorRuina

Ups! The version that uses the daglob base appears with all the gadgets visible.

Just tested with FF and FFvt3R viewers and works fine for me.

In both, he starts out with extensions shown (arms and legs), but they disappear after doing an action. Sometimes after using the propeller it doesn't vanish with some actions.

I forgot to put his new skin under standard so he was pink in the FFvt3R viewer until I copied it over.

Otherwise, he seems to be working fine for me. Sounds like a kf issue. Are you using the right keyframes? They should be 1,720 in size, not the smaller male_basic one.

DoctorRuina

Oh, certainly in game appears with all the gadgets, but used in battle the gadgets disappears.

Lots of cool stuff, guys!  Great work!

To add to Dean's excellent work from a few months back - Diana from the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon.

The body, head, and face were created in the Sims 3 "Create a Sim" module.

All the other pieces were taken from a couple of stl files I found for the character.

Rigged to Texas Jack's "Jack Staff" for the staff and attack animations.

Hands are a bit off, and the staff needs it position adjusted a bit in nifskope for anyone better at that than I am.

Came out looking not too bad.

Edit - She's sized on the original Jack Staff male nif, so she's probably too tall compared to other female characters. You might want to size her down in nifskope and see if that works.

Uploaded to the classics cartoon folder

Randomdays

In progress.... Sheila from the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon as well.

Just about done being built up and almost ready for rigging. If possible, I'm also going to try to do a version with the hood up and alpha turned on for the "invisible" look.

Amazing work, although I didn't see the dungeons and dragons cartoons, I only saw small pieces.
I was trying to do the head of the inspector's boss, but I keep having problems with textures, if it could be spray painted somehow it could solve all the latest models I've been making.

with the inspector you have to copy the texture file that is in the male basic version to the Daglob version that RD made.
With that I already see it perfect.
I tried again to capture with shading directly from the chapter and it worked somewhat better although it takes too long to process
texturing failure, maybe since that one came out at least something like texture can be corrected even if it is partially

These characters had a brief appearance in the film "Honor amongst thieves".
And... what about the Doctor Gang's henchmen?

Randomdays

Cranlox - good progress on Quimby. There's a Homer Simpson mesh for FF tht might work with the body with a reskin.

Doc - I still haven't gotten around to seeing the movie yet. On the henchmen - I'm not really familiar with anything but the basics of the show. I'll have to leave them for someone else to work on.

Shiela - complete and uploaded to the classic cartoons folder with Diana. 3 different versions - Hood down, Hood up, and hood up transparent - the transparency only works in FFvt3R and its very "splotchy" for some reason. I've seen this before and I think it has something to do with how the base mesh is made.

Maybe Uni next.

Thanks Doc. I've found that setting up base models in Sims 3 and "The Movies Game" give me a lot of flexibility and lets them do a lot of the skinning work that I can't do myself.

And here's Uni. I had done him a while back but he needed a better skin. I guess it got lost between then and now, so I did a simple reskin on him (her? - I can't remember if Uni was a male or female unicorn.)

Rigged to Beyonder's Horse.

Uploaded alongside Diana and Shiela

I'm seeing that I have meshes of other group members and of Venger. I think the author is deanjo.

Randomdays

Dean did them in a "D&D pack" about a year ago, so they're probably his. Check his thread to see if they match.

He usually doesn't put any info on his work to take credit, so sometimes it's hard to tell what's his.

DoctorRuina

Yes, they are of deanjo. Now the group is complete.

Randomdays

There's some stl's of some of the bad guys out there, like Warduke and Kelek, but they're not free.

I think I might have stl's of Shadow Demon and Venger's nightmare, so I might be able to work with them if I do.

DoctorRuina

Warduke appears in the cartoon? Is a classic villain of Greyhawk.

DoctorRuina

I think I have a comic based in the cartoon in which Kelek appears.

Randomdays

#1377
Here's a free stl of Warduke. I wouldn't want to do the whole thing, but if someone wanted the helmet might be transplanted onto a FF mesh that could be skinned to look like him

Kelek could be Val's Sorceror with an added beard and high collar, and a different staff.

DoctorRuina

Yes, both characters can be done with Nifskope. I may put them on my list.
