Help with keyframe transfer please

I'm trying to transfer the ranged_8 keyframe from Renegade's Vigilante GA to Ren's GL Hal. This animation displays the character taking a gun from their left thigh and firing it with their left hand. Inside the mesh there is an an object of the gun on thigh and gun in hand. When transferred to the GL Hal mesh this follows.

1.) When the mesh shows initially in CTool2 both instances of the gun are visible, whereas the one in hand should not be. This remains this way during any animation except the new ranged_8 one. Also neither gun follows the rest of the mesh during any of the anims but instead just won't move.

2.) When the ranged_8 animation is first played the holstered gun vanishes as it should. The scene tilts backwards and up though.

3.) After the ranged_8 animation has played the gun in hand vanishes as it properly should. The holstered gun appears as it should but still does not follow the mesh in other animations.

Any help with what needs to be done here is appreciated. Even more if anyone goes ahead and preps a mesh for me as I have much else to do with this one and several  other meshes and could sure use the time saved. Thank you.

Have you checked out the "GL_Kyle" Skope that was on the "Champions of Freedom" website? It has Green Lantern animations, plus, it has the sword and gun animations from the original "Deadpool" Mesh. The only thing is, is that the Gun is in the right hand, and it's not on the thigh. But it could at least be a starting point for you.

Any idea where I'd find that Kyle now?

I'll look at Deadpool but I'm finding Ren meshes seem to need transfer from other Ren's. I want it left handed for Simon Baz but if it turns to be too much work I'll abandon it since Simon doesn't " need " that anim other than for aesthetics and just having a holstered gun will look well enough.

I seem to have little to no luck changing keys either way. The reason I'm trying to go with Vigilante is because the keys actually do show up. Gren's Punisher and Nick Fury also have left handed guns, as well as does male hunter but none of these work with the GL meshes.

While I'm at it if anyone knows how or can transfer Ol Ares axe and animations to Kilowog so I can use it to make a Jruk I would be swappy.

I'm not sure how to do what you want, but since that "GL_Kyle" Skope is no longer online, if you PM me an E-Mail Address, I'd be happy to send it your way.

Okay, so I opened up the GL Kyle scope and I " sort of " see how it's rigged. A few questions about it maybe yourself or anyone else knows:

- The read me is pretty short. It only says that it was made using parts from meshes by Ren and Gren. Anyone know which, specifically the gun parts? I can see where the GL parts, those are universal between Gren, Ren and Ink and I'm not sure who did them first even but I know they're the same across the board anyways. I'm presuming the gun ones are from a Gren mesh since he used those a lot. That also tells me that this mesh is probably already set up to have both handed guns since most of Gren's works do and because of the skeletal hierarchy (onto that next).

- This has three skeletal sets. Like any GL mesh out there it has the first and proper set for the basic mesh itself and a second one inside the aura's tree as well. Then there's now a third set in a multinode inside the male basic tree. I'm not sure how this was done, anyone? I can guess this was the skeleton from the mesh that the weapons were imported from and how it uses those on the GL mesh which itself is usually nonconforming to donation. Also again how I'm guessing that if I knew which mesh the weapons came from I could just get the left hand gun as well and place it in that very skeletal structure on the bipeds proper.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the Gun and Sword, along with the appropriate animations, were from JiK's original "Deadpool" Mesh. If I'm right, then I think that the "Deadpool" Mesh only has one Gun (Right Handed), unless there is a second one that is hidden. I'll have to pop open the Mesh tonight to check it out for sure.

I haven't seen Mystik post in a very long time, and he was (I believe) the Skoper of the "GL_Kyle" Skope.

I also believe that the original GL Mesh was Renegade's, with a body swap done to include Ink's "Kyle_Rayner" Mesh's body.

I see. That makes a bit of sense but puts me one step back. I'm also sounding like a broken record here I know but do you or anyone have a link to the actual process of switching sides (left to right, ect) in the mesh and keyframes? I've asked this a lot but never gotten a straight answer, only that it's supposed to be easy to do I guess? I'll take any and all tutorials here, be it for Nifskope, Blender and/or 3ds max.
