Years ago, so many that I can't recall how many, I did my first thing for Freedom Force. My first real thing anyways. I had done some recolored and tailored skin bases but nothing serious. At the time I was more of a fan and lurker of all the really great works being done by the talented members of the Freedom Force community whom I had been turned onto by an article in Wizard Magazine. At this time we didn't have such fancy things as Nifskope and Blender scripts, just a hexing program and 3ds max 4 to those who could actually obtain it. So I hexed a simple and cheap Darkwing Duck from existing works and recolored it. But thus began my obsession with crafting things for this wonderful game and let me say it's been a lot of fun doing it and seeing every masterpiece any of you have rolled out. I feel I've progressed a lot and to commemorate everything I finally did this one, which was the character I had originally intended to do but didn't understand how.

I present Gizmoduck from the cartoon series Darkwing Duck. I used the arms from male basic and sculpted the rest. Despite the simplicity in it's appearance this was a delicate and careful work. As usual I encourage you to do whatever you wish with it. It can be downloaded here on my Toons page. Burn rubber, little Gizmobuddies!:

Thank you all for all the good times and glorious art of yours you've shared and all to come.

Very cool indeed. I have imports of most of the Ducktales characters to rig on my list that I'll get to one day. He'll go well with those.
