I've created a Summoner in  :ffvstr: but am having some trouble completing summons due to lack of energy. My summoner try's to summon C'thulu (whose's CP is sky high for obvious reasons ) but gets stunned and the summoned creature explodes. Is there a way to modify the characters max energy so that I can complete the summon?

Firstly, welcome to the Freedom Reborn community, CiViC!

Secondly, from what it sounds like, you have C'thulu set to "plasmatic" in the FFControlCentre.  Setting him to "independent" will prevent him from exploding (though he'll come out in a rage :P )

Thirdly, there is a way to give your character more energy through attributes.  Try "Energy Tanks" or even "Battery Powered" (he won't be able to restore energy, though).  Another way is to make the character a built-in character using Alex's EZHero Tool and sending the character to DAT.  Once you do that, in the "Templates" tab in FFEdit, you can set the character's total EP, giving him more energy without having to tamper with attributes.

With Energy Tanks, your hero is able to regenerate Energy Points, but only up to 100. He would, however, be able to fill his "tanks" above this level through Energy Leech or Absorption powers. If you have access to the FFX manual, you can also see how to set your character to absorb ambient energy, such as sunlight, to go past the 100 point mark.

With Battery Powered, even though your Energy Points don't regenerate, your initial Energy Level is set by the hero's Energy statistic. I don't know the exact number, I'm sure somebody has it somewhere. I have one of my Green Lanterns set with the Battery Powered attribute and an Energy Statistic of an 8. When he uses powers that cost Low Energy, he must fire it 15 times before getting a one bar reduction in his Energy, compared to the normal one use/one bar loss with a Low Energy power. So, you can play around with the setting to see what Energy Level to put this attribute at so your hero can operate competently.
