FFX Issue Not Loading Mission

I am running FFX on an old WinXP computer.  Everything seems to work until I try to start a new campaign or play in the Danger Room.  It will load my saved games.  I have not played any of my saved games to completion to what will happen.  The error message I get is

Alert: CcampaignImp::getNextCampaignMissionDef(), invalid campaign index

I would really like to play with the additional options that FFX provides, and I assume this can be fixed, but how can a go about doing so?  Thanks!
