PROBLEM WITH THE ACTIVE DEFENSE

In the active defense I selected the option "REMOTE USE" to allow my character to protect another one.

when I command my character
wrich has the shield defense power to protect another character
who does not have a shield power,  my game crashes... Why is that? Is there a way to fix it?

I haven't encountered that before, HS, why don't you tell us about your setup, version of Windows, etc.  It might also help to post your script.log.  Do a search for "Traceback."
