Is there a way to play FFvTTR without using the CD?

Hi all,
I apologize in advance if this question has already been answered. I recently re-installed FFvTTR on my laptop. I haven't been able to play the game without hooking up an external CD drive. I was wondering if there's a way to install it on the HD so I don't have to use the CD every time. I don't want to buy it from Steam since I already have it so if anyone knows of a way I'd like to know.

There used to be a way, but it involved used a hacked exe.

Not sure where it exists now, but the site it used to be on was filled with viruses, lol

It's worth the $5 . (or $7 if you want both games).

I personally have it on CD, Steam and GOG (my preferred way to play)

Yeah, it's super cheap, so that's a good option.

My computer guy fixed mine so I didn't need the CDs at one time, but I don't know how

Both FF games are currently on sale at GOG for $1.50 USD each.
