Where to put the hero files for ffvs3r to pick up? Helpme

I have problems to be able to reuse my own "*.hero" files I have them but I don't remember where I should put them.
Is it in the data folder? where?
I remember that before I would throw the files directly somewhere.

I don't know if I'm looking at the correct part of the forum intended for this.

It should be in your

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Irrational Games\Freedom Force vs the 3rd Reich\Custom\Heroes

folder

If you cannot find your AppData, in the Windows Exlporer, click "View" up at the top. In the "Show/Hide" section, make sure that "Hidden Items" is checked.

You can also find the AppData folder by pressing the Windows Key + R on your keyboard and typing %appdata% and then pressing Enter.

I found it's a good time saving trick to just make a shortcut to that directory right in my  main folder for that matter rather than hunting it down each time.

Yes, I exactly left a notepad in my freedom folder so I can find it every time I need it

SA means that you could make a shortcut to your Heroes folder, just like a shortcut to a game. That way, all you have to do is double-click on the shortcut.

I just pinned the folder to my Quick Access (I'm on Windows 10)

Quick Access is one nice feature of W10 for sure. I use that a lot, especially for my  directories. And yeah, that's what I mean. I always have a few shortcuts in the main folder, it's a habit going back to XP with me when it comes to any art program.
