Does Marvel Adventures actually contain malware?

No. It does not. There is a known issue with the installer. You can ignore that error.

Howdy, USV, welcome to the community!  I'm sorry for the confusion.  Unfortunately, this is, as WF said, a known issue.  It's the result of the system I use to enable folks to play multiple campaigns.  Whenever you click on one of the campaigns, the .exe copies the campaign.dat for that adventure (avengerscampdef.dat, fan4campdef.dat, etc) into the mod folder, so the game will run it.  This happens in the background, and it tends to make anti-virus programs lose their marbles, because the program is editing files, which, I guess, looks sketchy. 

But it is perfectly safe.  I built the .exes myself, and that is literally all they do.

Hello, Not been on the forum for a while now, so great to see things are still going. I have lost all my previous content and was wondering if there was a fresh link to this amazing mod at all, i tried the website but the links were not working :-)
